Google it. He's one of those people who seems to think that all these new races and cultures moving to England is a bad thing. The comments struck me as rather Islamaphobic as well. Though given the "tone" of your comment, I'm not sure you're willing to Google it.

Is this the infamous Daily Mail article? It's the Mail, not a paper known for its journalistic integrity or accuracy and has been caught wholesale making stuff up before now. I'm taking it with a massive cellar of salt especially as he appears to have never said anything similar either before or since.

Yes. The more I hear about it, the more it seems a last, desperate rallying cry for the Determined To Be Disgruntled.

(And honestly, at the moment there are far more interesting and outrageous gender and race-related things going on in Great Britain than an actor who chose his words poorly. If that's what you're focused on, you need to get your priorities sorted.)

No I'm not ignoring it, it was in poor taste and rape jokes are a big no no, anyone who tells them in front of me gets a bollocking. However it reads more like a stupid train of thought that ran out of control then a deliberate attempt to offend.

He's hardly the only person in Great Britain or Europe to express those views. Ten minutes watching any news program from the continent will prove that. And, frankly, if this is your greatest worry about what's going on in Great Britain at the moment, then you're sadly under-informed regarding world events.

(And, as an aside, the tone of your response to the other anon is off-putting. It's enough that even if I didn't have a vague understanding of what was going on from the various angry flailings, I wouldn't bother to look it up. You have actively put me off of the idea. That's not a good quality to have when you're trying to persuade others to your cause.)
