May I direct you to the Saint's Row series?

No male strippers, but you can play the main plot with a female character ranging from skin-and-bones to plus sized with three possible voices, one of which is goofy Russian.

Aaand this is why I bought the third game during the Steam Christmas sales. Black Russian female bodybuilder, here I come!

I think the game has deliberately gotten too goofy in an attempt to distinguish itself from GTA. But the character freedom (and the fact that your character isn't at all silent) is fantastic for me.

My character is a hot, redheaded bloke with a phenomenal muscle bod and an allergy to shirts. All he's lacking are male hos (Bro-hos? Ho-Bros?) and sextastic uniforms for his thugs (Thug-hos? Ho-bro-thug-bros?) and his life will be complete.

I really like Saints Row for this reason,
but I don't like the direction they took the series in.

Got a little bit too silly over time.

Now, if we could have a mix between GTA's seriousness / narrative and Saints Row's character customization, I would throw all of my money at the screen.

I accidently got Saints Row 2 and 3 on Humble and I was absolutely floored when my female character was just as enthusiastic about the idea of stripper poles in the hideout as her male counterpart. I think they didn't change jack shit dialogue or plot for the female character (at least in 2, am not through 3 yet), which is awesomesauce.
