Nonny here is writing that, although the character's just heading into mid-life crisis range. He discovers he's half-blooded in the course of the novel and that his parents had been keeping the secret for years, etc.

Of course, he's not the main, but he's one of them. The other is the same age, and their friends and younger siblings make up the rest.

Thank you! c: It's going pretty good right now, but even though I'm lucky enough to have professional interest, some of the people I met definitely implied they'd want it more YA than it is, which just sums up OP's whole thing.
