Most of the critics and the general public liked series 3. Fandom's reaction was mixed, but there are plenty of people out there who liked it and wish others would stop being so critical.

I was disappointed because all I want are case fics and I can't even get that from the actual show. Also, I'm still not okay with Sherlock killing people.

At the end of ASiB, doesn't Sherlock swing a sword at the men who were going to behead Irene? Doesn't that suggest he killed them? I mean it seems to me that unless they specially stated somewhere that Sherlock hadn't killed anyone before CAM, that he... well, has.

....I never saw him swing? IIRC, he was the one holding the sword that they thought HE was going to behead her with, then he told her to run.

Don't even get me started on how they basically thumbed their noses at SCAN and mooned ACD's grave with that ending.
