No Canon mysteries is the point, nonny. A Study in Pink was pretty much the only episode that was Canon-compliant, and interesting to watch. Why? Because neither of the pair are good at writing sensible plots. So they let ACD's plot fill in their rough spots. Once they abandoned even that help, their usual problems came back to haunt them, and the show has unfortunately become nothing more than a not-even-vaguely entertaining waste of time.

Meh. YMMV. I still find it entertaining, canon mysteries or no.
