I'm ashamed to say that I really, really get the appeal of this trope.

I enjoy the idea of there being a class of people who exist for the sexual fulfillment of another class. I don't like it in real life at all; I in fact detest it and fight against it. But in fantasy, it's really, really hot.

(I should probably add, at this point, that I switch when in bed. I like being dominated as much as I like dominating. So it's not necessarily a power fantasy, as I can see myself in the Omega position just as well as I can see myself in the Alpha position. It turns me on either way).
