No, they're definitely being pushy and guilt-trippy about it. The whole approach is calculated to make people feel bad and put them on the spot so they feel pressured to say yes. It's an effective method, but it's shitty. If you're a loyal customer to this store, I'd let management know that their methods are aggressive and off-putting.
