Can someone explain it to me? Because the discussion isn't clearing things up and is just making me a bit scared to google it.

Okay. Alpha/Beta/Omega fics basically work on (out-dated) wolf-pack dynamics as a sex-based trope, in that there are Alphas who are in charge and give out sex, Omegas who are bottom of the hierarchy and take sex, and most of the time Betas who are like, everyone else. It also uses tropes like people going into heat, usually the Omegas. Usually the dynamic is that an Omega (sometimes literally) can't say no to a determined Alpha, and there's a lot of animalistic behaviour tied up in that. Also, just to be extra awkward, there's usually a lot of inhuman anatomy added in, and trust me you probably don't want that going in to.
