To rephrase, I like the sound of the music and it's very catchy but I don't like some of her lyrics.

I'd love to be that way, but unfortunately I'm not. If I learn something negative about a singer I tend to view all their songs with it in mind and it taints it somehow. It's particularly bad when I learn that a singer has been abusive toward their lover(s) and then went on to sing love songs like nothing happened; it makes me want to puke.

I guess this is a major benefit to not paying attention to celebs. I just like whoever's music floats my boat, and I don't actually know much about them as people.

(Though I will always associate 'California Girls' for the time I'd gotten pulled over for speeding 10-odd over the limit, b/c I was singing along to it and not paying too much attention to the road. There was no one else on the street at the time, fwiw, but I still felt horrible, lmao)

You know what you could do, OP? Maybe for the more popular songs you could find covers that change the lyrics? Maybe those have lyrics you like? I dunno. That's the best I can think of.

The only song of hers' that I like is "Firework". From the moment I heard "I Kissed A Girl" I couldn't stand any of her music, but then "Firework" came out and I was like, "OMG Am I going crazy? I like this." But the gods aligned the world correctly again because that's been the only song of hers I can stand. Everything else of hers I just cannot stand.

I'm going to come right out and say that I really liked I Kissed a Girl

And, in fact, for thirteen-year-old/raised-in-a-very-religious-conservative-family/so-deep-in-the-closet-I-was-in-Narnia me, hearing a song on the radio explicitly about a girl kissing another girl was actually kind of huge. It was, like, the first time I'd ever heard anyone talking about anything same-sex-relationship-related without it being THIS GIANT IMPORTANT SERIOUS THING STEEPED IN GRAVE POLITICAL DEBATE. The radio was playing it and people were singing along and saying it was their favourite song like it wasn't even a big deal. I know that it's criticized for being trivializing, but that was what I needed at the time: to feel like being attracted to girls wasn't The Most Serious Thing In The World.
