Oh, well, that's different. That happens to me with even the slightest thing sometimes. There are some characters in certain fandoms of mine where they'll change clothes and I'll get confused. XD

I thought the op meant that people were bitching about it, like causing this big ruckus and wanting her to dye it back or something. Are there people doing that?

See, I'd understand if people assumed the worst about the way he tells stories. (I actually like his movies, though, but I guess that's beside the point. I understand that people who don't like them don't want his style in their fandom.)

What I don't understand is why people assume there's going to be an all-caucasian cast with a director who isn't even caucasian. And, honestly, is it so hard to wait until after he screws up to start complaining?

Not!Secret #2) Clearly someone who doesn't read OOTS decided this wasn't a secret, or didn't understand the message you were conveying (that while you find the canon couples [Elan/Haley and Roy/Celia] cute, you also ship Roy/Elan).
I personally don't agree with Roy/Elan-- recent exposition about Roy's family hints that his friendship with Elan is more brotherly, and as a result the pairing now smacks of pseudo-incest. Ask me about Roy/Durkon, though. UNF.

I don't know if I would ship them (grumpy old men do need love, but I have enough problems writing teenage pairings), but I think your idea would lead to some great fic, and I could definitely see a relationship between them. If you've got any written, I'd be interested.

There's got to be some communities out there. Maybe you could present it as a crack pairing and see if anyone latches on. Or, hell, just come out with it. There's bound to be someone (well, other than me) who could see it happening.

lol well some foreign terms have no Japanese word for them so they use the english/french/whatever and fit it into the japanese syllabary using katakana which creates the funny sounding words we are familiar with, and in other cases it's just cause it caught on in the vanacular I suppose.

The word chon has several meanings.

Originally it was an onomatopoeia for the sound that wooden clappers make when struck together (this is still reflected in phrases like 'chongiru' which means 'to chop something off'). Later the meaning shifted to mean idiot, and then it became a racial slur for Koreans (it's usually written in katakana when used as a slur). Nowadays the word chon is on the official list of words banned from broadcasting (http://www.jiko.tv/housoukinshi/sabetsu2.html) and as was mentioned in the secret, the word was censored in Fujiko Fujio's works too since it was used with the racist meaning.

However, that doesn't stop certain 2chdoinks from using it in reference to James, it seems. -_-
