I realize that the actress wanted to leave the show but I'm still bummed about Allison's death. Why couldn't it have been the twins? Oh God, why? They could have at least died along with her or something.

I do want to say though that I'm incredibly happy about all the Scott/Stiles slash fodder they've put into this season. It's the ship that should have sailed instead of the S.S Sterek, goddammit. I also love how butthurt the sterek fans are getting because the show isn't catering to them

this Sterek fan isn't butthurt. That's what fic is for, after all.

I like Sterek well enough but part of me hopes there won't be any slashy moments between the two ever again just because some of the fans on tumblr get hilariously angry whenever another episode of teen wolf goes by with nary any Derek/Stiles. Of course there's a bigger part of me that's shallow and wants to see some hot dudes having subtexty moments but still

Gotcha. That's why I try to stay away from Tumblr. I have enjoyed the Sterek scenes we've gotten in the past but they don't need to be canon for me to continue to like them. I've never understood the "my ship MUST be canon" mindset.

Any IC fic recs? I love fic that reads like it could be an episode with smut thrown in, but really anything IC makes me happy.

To be honest, I read so much fic and a lot of it is not necessarily completely IC. I still enjoy it, but not everyone might. I'll look through my bookmarks though.

Anything that's more canon than fanon is good. I'm just looking for a starting point for getting back into reading Teen Wolf. Thank you!

I have a hard time saying things are in-character because canon probably means the pairing isn't possible at all, so what I have instead is "in character, assuming these two characters have complimentary sexualities and are attracted to each other." It's kind of a necessary pairing assumption. Also, I love monster-of-the-week, so there's that.

I can't tell you how happy it makes me that the Scott/Stiles ship has started to really take off lately (it's always been around but it used to just kind of be on the fringes of fandom). I still sort of like Sterek but I've read so much of it that I've gotten a bit sick of it (same thing happen with John/Sherlock)

There's still time for the twins to die! If they will or not idk, but I do doubt they'll be returning next season. Though...ngl, if they somehow survive and leave Beacon Hills while ALLISON DIES PERMANENTLY I will be beside myself in rage.

And I'm not butthurt either, but I won't say that I wouldn't enjoy some Sterek scenes because they're some of my favorites. We could use some lighter moments right now. As is though, Stiles and Derek just don't have time to get together and insult or snark at each other; there's more important shit going on.

I'm pretty sure Jeff is so far up the twins asses, he can see the centre of the Earth and back. I believe he also said in an interview that he'd welcome the twins back if/when they leave. Ugh. Ughhhhhhhhhh. I don't know what he sees in them or why they should get to leave when so many other characters with potential have been killed.
