As many times as it takes to reach the next continuity reboot (or next senior editor, which is often the same thing, who'll have a fresh slate of stories and villains) and then we can start again.

It was a rhetorical question, but the way you answered it kinda just proves the point that nothing matters besides making sure there are always people around to fight, regardless of what's good for the actual world or city they live in.

Most superheroes don't do it for me because I personally have a hard time considering them as truly "good" when they constantly (due to plot, writers, etc) end up putting their personal morals or their righteous self-image above what, in practice/utility, is safer for the whole (that they supposedly protect). No, I don't think superheroes should immediately go kill people, of course not. But seriously after like the 4th or 5th escape and mass murder in the same continuity, where they keep just not getting rid of the damn threat when they have the chance, it annoys me when people (as in the fictional civs who keep dying that writers gloss over and readers are supposed to ignore) STILL all think this hero is a great and wonderful person.

The hero(ine) is a wonderful and morally upstanding person (excepting Frozone and Iceman, anyone that freezes things is automatically douche) the fictional courts on the other hand...are flawed as are our own so yay for realism I guess.

So... we disagree? That's ok with me. I'm honestly not sure if you were trying to convince me that this supposed hero(ine) is good by just ?? informing me that in your opinion they are wonderful, but sorry, I think we're just going to have to keep disagreeing here.
