So I laboriously typed in that whole URL, and found out that he just waved to the kid. That's it. Next time just say what to search for, now I'm kind of pissed off that I went to the trouble.

I didn't watch the video, but one wave is sort of anti-climatic...do hockey players not do a lot of waving to the crowd? I would think that was normal.

Nah, they wave when they see people waving to them. But this guy also spoke to the kid later.

But "a lot"? I don't know if I would classify it as a lot, usually when they're on the ice, they're focused more on the game than the stands. Waving without much reason might get a penalty for "delay of game".

Aww, I didn't realize the game was that strict. I suppose it does make sense though.

In any case, it IS cute that he acknowledged the kid. I bet that made his day. (And will be something his family will talk about forever.)
