Why is wrong? Are they related or something?

There's a nine year age difference.

And that's supposed to be something wrong? My cousin is dating a guy 15 years older than her and they are happy together.

There's nothing wrong about love as long as the two persons love each other and both want to be together.

It's probably that she's a sixteen year old girl and he's a twenty-five year old guy. At that point in time, an age difference like that is a big deal.

Well, sure there might be a disrepancy in life experience and they might break up, but if the younger party is legal (I'm from Poland where it's 15, at the moment living in UK where it's 16 - I'm assuming it's 16ish in Japan depending on the area? Their national law states 13, but it doesn't apply when overridden by local laws. I think.), it's fine from the standpoint of the law (psychologically, it depends on the people). Most relationships I know have an age difference of 9 years ... MINIMUM (and nope, mostly the women are older).

I KNOOOW why are they so adorable, why!!

I love age gaps, but if they're gonna spend 70+ chapters dancing around their feelings because it's "wrong"... *grimaces*

Sure, I'd love to recommend some stuff! But, in order to not throw a million things at you that aren't even your thing, what are you looking for? Do you prefer pairings that are actually canon, or are ones that have a big fanbase okay too? What type of fandom -- movies, manga, something else? And, in the case of manga, are you into BL?

I'm pretty much into everything, films, shows, manga, anime, comics... Any genre is ok. And I would prefer canon pairings. Just no teacher/student stories, most of the time I don't like them that much.

I think it's a nice change of pace. I ended up following a manga that had a man raise a child from when she was a baby, and then bam, he gets her pregnant when she's fifteen and he's thirty something. Ha. Ha. No thanks. Ruined the series for me.

But Usagi Dropped was so creepy because the readers spend several volumes reading about a man raising a girl, him being a father figure for her, and then she wants to have babies with him. It wasn't gross because of the age gap but because you were supposed to be reading a story about a family bond and in in the end it was about lovers.

THAT'S HOW THAT SERIES ENDED??? HE GETS HER PREGNANT WHEN SHE IS 15????? Good LORD I am so glad I stopped reading it.

Ah, yes, that does sound a bit much... I just get easily fed up with that whole will-they-won't-they thing when it's dragged out for a long time -- I guess I've read too much shoujo manga and seen too much Korean drama, haha.

or the whole Damia/Afra thing in The Tower and the Hive. that STILL skeeves me the fuck out

It's probably half of that, since the context is that she started as a babysitter for the two little children he's looking after, and it took some time for feelings to develop (although you knew the relationship was heading that way since shoujo).

Yay a Love so life secret 0u0. I love Shiharu and Matsunaga together but I'm actually glad that they do think about her age. I remember reading a shoujo about a teacher married to a high school girl and it was pretty weird
