I don't know if it's necessarily evil but when I was a kid I fooled around with another girl. She's a lesbian now (I'm not) and I feel sort of guilty, like it's my fault. I know that's not how it works but I can't help but feel bad about it.

Other than that I honestly can't think of anything.

In my defense (if that's alright?) I was less than 10 years old, and the guy who talked me into it was in his teens...

Still feel really guilty about it, though. I mean, holy shit, that could have hurt so many people. D:

Oh gosh, I thought I was the only one who was going to post something like this!

I was less than 10 (I think... definitely pretty young) when I broke into my neighbor's garage and put dirt and paint thinner (which I thought was water) on his car... my friend and I had been reading "mystery" books and we wanted a mystery to solve, so we had to create our own crime scene. I didn't lie to the cops, but they had to work really hard to get me to say anything, lol.

...It's the only bad thing I've ever done, though! T_T

When I was very little I went through a phase of unintentionally shoplifting. I'd just walk out of the shop with things, completely unaware I still had them in my hands.

Essentially, I'm dippier than Luna Lovegood.

I'm a habitual accidental shoplifter.

About two years ago, I decided to go grocery shopping at 2. I went to Kroger, who offers those small, two-tiered carts. I put a whole pork roast on the bottom next to the milk, and filled the top with random stuff, then checked out through self-scan. I grabbed the milk, and completely forgot about the roast. I didn't realize it until I was loading the bags into my car and saw it.

I also went through a period where I would put small things in my pockets so they wouldn't fall through the holes in the cart, and then forget about them.

I'm lucky I've never been arrested, or something.

Definitely not the evilest but it still amuses me that when I was a kid I stole a WWJD bracelet. I don't remember why.

Hmm, evilest? I don't know, I'm boring. Mostly all I can think of is spreading rumors in middle school.

I once told a kid who wore a wwjd bracelet picking on me to follow in Jesus' foosteps and die horribly. Not my best moment.

When I was in middle school, I convinced a group of people that I was being possessed on-and-off by two sisters, one of whom was very cruel. I told them that the way to protect themselves from the cruel sister was to find and cling to a wooden object whenever she appeared.

One night, at a sleepover, I managed to scare them so bad that one of them told me she would kill me if she found out I were lying. It reached a point where I thought I had taken it as far as it could go, so I looked at her and told her to take a knife and stab me. Then, I ran out of the room and locked myself in another room down the hall. They took this as me telling them how to get rid of the cruel sister, and then fleeing in fear.

It seems kind of silly typing it all up now, but I terrified these girls. I made them cry and think that they were going to have to kill me. My relationships with them never recovered. It's been so many years, and I still feel bad about it. I don't know why I did such a thing.

Why's that a bad thing to do?

I've hung out with and nurtured secret crushes on people who've had no idea I've that kind of impulse. They were comfortable around me when they probably should have treated me the same way they treat guys. Not that I ever did anything untoward with it.

It also means I've effectively doomed myself to never really knowing a pretty important part of myself as anything other than something I have to make sure I hide offline. Its too late for that.

Stole from my family and from a local historical monument when I was about 12. I don't know what was worse and none of them ever knew the whole amount of what I took...

Also, I did not break up with my ex-girlfriend for over a month while I knew that it was really not working out, until she told me that she was in love with me. I then bailed and took a whole day to tell her it was over... while assuring her after her confession that she shouldn't worry about my lack of response.

Outed a creepy cheater super publicly by using a dummy account to post screencaps on one of his fiancee's smug, self-righteous facebook posts about their engagement solely because I hated her.

The evil part is I'm not even sorry. It was glorious.

I bullied a girl in school. If she's at the 10 year reunion I'm going to apologize to her.

Can't think of anything else. My villainy is more cartoony than actual evil.

Eh, I can't think of anything truly horrific. I've said some truly unkind things, but usually not to people's faces, and I've been a crappy friend.

I did once tell someone that they were the most repulsive person I'd ever met and I thought they'd die alone. But there were extenuating circumstances, so I honestly can't feel too horrific about it.

Probably a lot of things that I'm not remembering right now but here's what I can think of off the top of my head:

Let other people take the blame for things that were actually my fault (in my defense it was because they were dicks to me in the first place).

Auditioned for parts in things just because I knew other people wanted them and I knew I could get them.

Entered competitions for the same reason, knowing that my work was superior and no one else at the venue stood a chance of competing with me. This was also knowing that the people who were hoping to win had worked for a long time on their projects and had never won anything before while I had already won a bunch of awards.

Manipulated people who were attracted to me into doing favours for me or giving me money/gifts. Taken money and possessions from an ex room mate because he was a dick while we were living together (and because he was a giant stoner and he forgot that he actually owned some of the things). I consider those things stupidity tax.

I never do shit to people that I don't think really deserve it though.

Beat the ever living shit out of kids who called me fat. In their defense, I was totally fat. In my defense, I was fat and also twice their size and strength, so I really don't know what they were thinking.

...The worst part was that I wasn't really that hurt by the comments. I just didn't like those kids. They didn't like me. But I knew that the insults would be enough to keep me from being disciplined as an "instigator" and instead get both of us in trouble.

EDIT: Well I also let another girl beat up my little brother once. He and her little brother were following us around while we were trying to play and throwing sand at us and would not stop. We knew we'd get in shit if we beat up out own little brother, so we traded pounding responsibilities and blamed it on that "other girl". Oh how mean and terrible she was. We tried to stop her. Really.

The term didn't exist then (late 90s), but I catfished someone in high school . It wasn't like a romance sort of thing, I just invented an online persona that used to live in the area but had moved away and made internet friends with somebody who wasn't one of my friends, but not a close friends but who was a close friend to one of my close friends, and I felt like she was closer to that friend than I was and I just...I dunno wanted in on that, even if just anonymously over the internet. Then we slow-faded when high school ended.

Also, I was having all kinds of dysphoria then, so the person I created was the opposite gender, which was a...liberating experience, even though I grew into being comfortable in my own skin.

threw a rock at a car that didn't stop at a ped crossing and cracked their back window - they didn't seem to notice so I hope the enjoy the fees for repairing it.
