Oh wow, no, that just isn't right. I don't know what I'd eat if I couldn't eat dairy...

(Granted, I can't chug milk or even use regular milk in cereal because it makes me sick too, but almost anything with dairy in it is okay as long as I don't overdo it.)

I'm having a lot of coconut and almond milk instead. It's not the same... cereal doesn't taste as good tbh. Thankfully, I'm more of a water drinker, so that's one good thing.

(Lactate pills might help? They helped me in the past.)

I use almond milk in cereal, and 1% or 2% in everything else. It mostly works out that way and I've got so used to 1% and 2% milk that it tastes perfectly fine to me. ...I'd rather not have to use almond milk at all because I don't like the way it flavors the cereal, but...what can you do?

(I have tried those and they never helped much. Granted, it HAS been a long while so maybe it would be worth another try.)

Almond milk is definitely an acquired taste, especially since I drink that no sugared type. I do get the vanilla kind which helps a bit.

There is also lactate drops now that you can out into yogurt and milk as well. I did that for a bit and it helped.

I think I get the no sugared vanilla kind as well. It isn't terrible but I wouldn't use it if I didn't need to.

They have drops? Geez, I need to look this shit up. I can eat (most) yogurt fine, but for some reason milk by itself kills me.

The drop brand I used was called Lactaid. You add a few drops to the milk and it generally helped me with tummy rumblings. If you find them, I hope they help you out.
