I know I'm hooked to a new fandom when I start having mpreg plot bunnies for it. I don't even like mpreg per se, I think it's a way to explore the 'verse's particularities and limits. Are there magic? mad science? aliens? weird fuckery?

I wish mpreg had more exploration of the actual mechanics and howsits. Mostly it's just surprise!pregnancy -> flash forward to baby!

Also I wish my fandom was more varied. It's always the one guy that's more often written like a stereotypical female substitute that is the magically pregnant one.

I know I'm hooked on a new fandom when I see mpreg fics and think to myself, "Hmm, maybe they wouldn't be so bad."

Totally agree, the same goes for A/B/O fic. When I started in my current fandom I couldn't run from it far enough, now I'm like 'Oooh X as an abused Omega? I'll read the hell out of that shit!' I'm so ashamed... ;)
