F!S Anon Meme (the ??th)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with recaptchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

(Today's post is below.)

Yeah, seems like people are more likely to focus on nitpicking wordchoice or wildly misunderstanding so much that you wonder if it's on purpose.

Agreed. I try to make my wording short and consise but half the time it's "This secret is unclear", "What does this one white pixel in the corner mean?", "OP sound this and that".
Argh!

DA

Yeah, exactly. "Well, obviously since OP used this word instead of one of its synonyms, they like Character A and therefore they hate Character B and that's the only reason they have this opinion!" When I actually only used that word because it had fewer letters than any of the synonyms and I was trying to keep it brief.

Yes, and it's not like only one or two commenters do this. People care more about being 'clever' than contributing a thought or two.

Oh my god the word people are the most useless in this comm. They're not even pointing out funny mispellings or how an obviously missing qualifier changes the entire meaning.

As soon as the spelling and grammar corrections drop, all I can see is a giant flag pointing out how worthless and skippable the comment is going to be.
