Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with recaptchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

Helen does tend to write some depressing fics. I like how she writes though and she seems like a nice person. Her characterization of John Sheppard is different from how I see him being in canon but I like it anyway.

Oh yes, I did not mean to imply I disliked the author as a person, just the stories that keep getting rec'd to me that end up depressing me. I've been in a few fandoms with her now and she does seem like a lovely person from what I've seen.
