I just messaged someone on okcupid and then while idly looking through my sent box I realized I messaged them a few months ago and they never responded. I have now disabled my account out of embarrassment.

that's an extreme reaction. they might find it slightly annoying but unless they are crazy/paranoid I doubt they'll think any more of it
