Time Bandits! That's a great film with uh... shorter people. I have no idea about the terminology. But, no, there's not much. There was a woman in Phoenix Nights. Some cameo parts in Twin Peaks and Trees Lounge (which made fun of the way it was done in Twin Peaks - 'why is it surreal if the dream sequence has a dwarf in it? I'm a dwarf all the time! It's not surreal for me!')

Dinklage is kind of an acting powerhouse though. There's not many actors of any size that could do what he does. I just watched Death at a Funeral and The Station Agent just for him and it was worth it. Though they're both good films even without his added bonus.

The actor from Twin Peaks also has a small but decent part in the X-Files episode Humbug, which is a very good episode in general.

Michael J Anderson! He's also Samson from Carnivale, another terrific role.

I really really want to watch Carnivale! It sounds so good.

I suppose in some way Carnivale was a stereotypical role, because he was part of a 'freak show' but the character was a real rounded person, within the batshit weirdness that was the show, of course.

I wouldn't say Anderson's role in Carnivale was stereotypical, though, because his character wasn't a circus performer. He was the manager, and the show kept him on a level with the other non-"freak" characters.

"But... I am an FBI agent."

That's one of my favorite episodes.

"You'd be surprised how many women find my size intriguingly alluring." "You'd be surprised how many men do as well."
