My thoughts exactly. Just because there are worse characters in the series doesn't make Tyrion somehow better. He may not exactly be as monstrous as other characters, but he's still in the morally grey area. More so in the books.

Um, if there are worse characters then it actually does make him better... than those characters. That's what 'worse' means.

I agree with this but I'm still laughing at all the "well he hasn't raped anyone or had infants murdered"

I feel that way all the time as a fan of the series; sometimes you just got to look back and LOL at the people that pass for 'good' in this fandom. Well, I'm a fan of some actually good characters as well but admittedly I think they tend to be more boring than the grey ones.

There's a very low bar in Game of Thrones.

A bunch of dicks playing musical chairs.

I guess I worded that badly. My bad, I'd try to explain what I mean exactly but I'm having trouble putting my thoughts to words.

You meant to say 'it doesn't make him good'... and I agree. I don't think he's a wholly good person, but there is good in him, which is more than can be said for a host of other people in the series.

Yeah, that works better. Thanks and I will agree with that as well. I'm just kinda sick of people ignoring or brushing aside his faults.
