lksfgndfg yeah, he's RPed pretty badly in a lot of places -- but I think that's mostly due to lack of material people have to base his character on. ): I really enjoy the series (EVEN THOUGH IT'S LIKE 23 CHAPTERS LONG DLKFHN) but hey, to each their own, huh? :D

7. I'm sorry, I can't agree. Just about every movie or anything I've ever seen involving ancient Egypt, home to my favourite mythology, is utterly CRINGEWORTHY. Anubis is NOT evil, thankyouverymuch. *headdesk repeatedly*
But anyway, sometimes you can set that stuff aside and enjoy a work on the superficial level. Sometimes you can't. It depends on how into a particular mythology you're into, I guess.

Its not just the lack of ficcage--the FF.Net section is alive and well and people comment a surprising amount--its that no one has the BALLS to write Beast awkwardly taking Belle after he, I dunno, FAILS TO TRANSFORM BACK. Thanks to Furry!Fear. I don't want ugly, man-lipped Prince!Beast kissing Belle, I want awkward BEAST!Beast trying to figure out how to do it without impaling her LIP.

They don't even have a section on ADULTFanfiction.net for crying out loooud.

7. I don't mind when mythologies are twisted around for the specific purpose of recreating them, with complete understanding of what's being done (Jesus Christ Superstar, Battle Pope, American Gods). It's the slap-dash nature of some of the others that bothers me.

Also, there aren't any male redheads in the Marvel universe, the bastards. D:

Oh, I know that. Furries get a bad rap as it is, and I really don't care either way. A kink is a kink, people, and it shouldn't really matter if the character is made of win, but sadly is covered in fur. They're still made. of. win.

In all honesty, I made the secret hoping someone would come to my rescue and go "LINK" and be my HERO. No such luck, I guess.

And they're so great together, too, its not fair. If I could find a way to suddenly not suck at writing smut, I'D WRITE IT MYSELF, only, hey, that completely defeats the purpose.

It seems that Capcom has a tendency to horribly fuck up its games own canon.

Well, hopefully the creator of Phoenix Wright isn't as insane and inconsistent as Keiji Inafune.

I've beaten the first game except for the 5th trial, and when I read about what Phoenix ends upas in GS4... I couldn't believe it. It kind of makes me wonder what the point is of playing the second and third if that just happens to him in the end.

I also heard somewhere that the creator of the PW series doesn't want to use Edgeworth in future stories or something like that. I could be wrong, though. But seriously, what is this person smoking ._.

Basically, in an interview released post-GS4, he was asked about why Maya and Edgeworth were completely absent. Their justification was basically, "This is a new chapter, no one cares anymore", and "wanting to know that is like asking about the character's birthdays".

4. Complete agreement.
The Phoenix Wright games are such an excellent source of inspiration in showing how you can be the biggest loser, asshole, or what have you on the planet and still be able to change and seek out more reasons to keep on living. Now it feels like that message got twisted around to, "Sure, you can pursue your dreams and exceed the expectations of others, but you'll still be a complete failure in the end." Bitter. I wonder if Capcom took one too many sips of Godot's java.

9. Seeing Silent Hill doing it's job makes me happy. :D

Ditto on that. I haven't gotten to the end of the PW games yet, but as I understand it this is exactly what happens by the end, and it's really quite sad to see. From what I know about the plot, I almost feel that GS4 would be a little better if there was no link to Phoenix in it at all... I'd rather see nothing than such a changed character.

#2. WTF, this is why I stay away from the fandom. I love Bleach but so many of the fanfics are made of fail. I mean seriously Gin is the furthest thing from being Uke.

#7. Eventually you'll reach a point where it's so different from the original mythology it might as well be an entirely new story. It looses some of the original mystic it had originally. I can deal with minor changes that don't work now a days or can't be portrayed right or whatever, but when they start changing esstential foundations to the mythology, (for example can you imagine a story about King Arthur without Merlin or Excalibur? That's loosing a foundation of the mythology, or can you imagine if an evil being or a good being in mythology suddenly switched sides? Everything that made that being who they were has been twisted and it looses an essential foundation.) I don't mind changes or alterations to the story, but don't go too far or it's useless to call it like the original.
