science_fiction would go in "Fandom: Specific Genre."
fanlore would go in "Fandom: General."
Comms about Game of Thrones/ASOIAF could go in both "Fandom: Books" and "Fandom: TV."
Comms about Zutara would go in TV; Sansan would go in Books and TV like GoT/ASOIAF.

Why's it awesome? We talk about cool shit! Lately, we attempted a group-watch of a series, and may do so again.
Other comments: Lots of magical girl anime/manga have things in common, or are commenting on each other. It's more badass to be able to talk about all of them at once.

What's it for? discussing, posting about Hikaru no Go
Why's it awesome? it's an active friendly community, that's been pretty good about hosting a range of activities this year, such as currently a meta bingo, last month a team battle that included icons, recs, prompts and drabbles, and an on going rewatch of the anime series.

Fandom: Sailor Moon!
What's it for? For all fans of Sailor Moon in all its forms, whether it's the anime, manga, musical, or live-action show.
Why's it awesome? Well, it's awesome because I do believe it was the first Sailor Moon community on DW, and possibly the only - I haven't gone searching yet.
Other comments: sailormoon has been kinda quiet for most of it's life - I'm hoping that with the influx of new people here on DW, people will join up and make themselves at home! :D

What's it for? Anything related to Natsume and his book of friends!
Why's it awesome? It's an active comm, for small fandom, about an amaaaaaaazing series. There are regular posts with the 30 day meme and the rewatch of all the episodes of the series.

Fandom: (if applicable) Naruto, but it's for a specific couple Kakashi/Sakura
What's it for? Anything related to the Kakashi/Sakura couple
Why's it awesome? It's a very kind and polite community that welcomes anyone to be part of it. It's also awesome because nearky every month we got two contests! So whether you are a writer or an artist you can always find something to do!
Other comments: Another amazing thing about this community is that we are not only talking about fandom stuff. We have chats that are for people learning what has been posted in the community and for chatting about anything. It could about yourself, games, posting bits of your on going fics... And we have both a LJ and DW section! Make sure to check both!
