I've divided it up onto categories so people can more easily find what they like:

For example:
lj_refugees would go in "OTF: General."
roleplaysecrets would go in "Fandom: Roleplay."
science_fiction would go in "Fandom: Specific Genre."
fanlore would go in "Fandom: General."
Comms about Game of Thrones/ASOIAF could go in both "Fandom: Books" and "Fandom: TV."
Comms about Zutara would go in TV; Sansan would go in Books and TV like GoT/ASOIAF.

Community: dreamscapes and dreamwidthlayouts
What's it for? Layouts! The first is for submissions to become new site styles; the second is more general, and takes things that wouldn't meet the standard for official styles. (These aren't necessarily quality standards! Fixed-with layouts, for instance, aren't made official because of accessibility reasons.)
Why's it awesome? DW's style system is kind of a pain to wrangle. Here you can find gorgeous layouts that other people have already wrangled for you.

Community: dreamcodes
What's it for? Sharing profile codes, rp muselists and cr charts, or indeed any other kind of coding!
Why's it awesome? Dreamwidth and LJ aren't completely compatible in terms of what html and css can be used in posts and on profiles (especially profiles). So a code built for LJ might not work for DW - but dreamcodes lets you find codes that you know will definitely work on DW.
