Actually, I played the game a couple years ago, and I loved it just based on its story, plot, and characters. It had absolutely nothing to do with "nostalgia". It's the kind of game that is able to withstand time and new generations of game-playing because its that damn good.

I play FFVII through all the way up to the Northern Crater (including all sidequests like chocobo breeding) at least once a year. And I still love the game.

It's definitely dated, and I personally have no issues with the Compilation, but I don't think saying all of FFVII's popularity is nostalgia is fair - certainly not accurate. It was a great game then and it's still a great game now, even stacked up against competition that is years and entire console systems ahead of it.

38 HELL YES. There's nothing wrong with you. I never did community RP games either for just that reason. Too many cooks, and all it takes is one or two shitty ones.

That and the fact that so many of them are barely-disguised excuses for a lot of people to get together and create weird porn. Go ahead, mention in an app that you're not a shipper and don't intend to start. We'll see how far you get.

Also, I was never big on Sega, but I liked that cartoon. As soon as DBZ-lookin powerups and a bazillion character I don't even care about showed up, I peaced.
