27. We read 'The Great Gatsby' in my sophomore year and we spent like half of our English class one day where our teacher went on and on about Nick possibly being bisexual. Made most of the kids WTF like crazy lol

I THOUGHT SO TOO! I remember we had to write notes on each chapter on the novel for school, and for the chapter in which Nick and Gatsby first met I wrote "...possibly gay and longs for Gatsby?" beside Nick's character development. XD I bet he was jealous of Daisy the whole time.

6. AHAHAHA WHAT? He was around for, like, one minute before he revealed that he was a boy. It was barely enough time for him to do anything. Pick a better trap to whine about. Gender shouldn't be that important to your love of a character anyway.

35. I swear I read a couple chapters of that and felt the exact same way. It happens to me all the time in other fandoms too - if I think that a character I love will be happy with another character, I'll support that pairing, whether I like the other character or not. It's always been a little bewildering to me. Anyway, this series only served to reaffirm my opinion that most yaoi manga should BURN IN A FIRE.

4. You have a month to make an entire novel. For most people, there's no time for editing in that time frame. I bet almost everyone's will be just as bad. :| If you focus more on writing a good story rather than cramming as much as you can into a month, your novel will probably turn out much better.

Not gonna lie, I hated that book with passion. But I'll admit that the moment my teacher said, "Now, he's not gay or anything" while discussing how Nick thought Gatsby was "handsome", I couldn't pull my mind out of the gutter.

Made reading that book a great deal more entertaining, if nothing else.
