Same, so much. This goes to anything ever. When I see all these popular pairings where it's adult/teenagers, I seriously get so squicked out. Like what???? the????? hell?????

I only keep my judgement on anon memes (in general, not at specific posts) and in my brain though.

It's on the kink meme right now, and it's a WIP, so I can't promise when it will be done/when I'll post it properly; especially right now, I'm having writing issues, mostly due to school, and uh, school? |D

Percy looked down at the bundle in Audrey's arms. They were all three tear-stained and sweaty, and a sense of fear lingered in the air, but underneath it all, he felt a warmth and completeness that he hadn't felt in years.

"Have you loves thought of a name yet?" the nurse asked. "We like to give new parents plenty of time, but with the war and all..."

Audrey looked at him and then back at the baby girl.

"We both liked Ava," she said.

"And Grace, for your grandmother."

"I like it," she said. "Ava Grace Weasley."

"I was thinking...O'Malley." Audrey looked up at him, almost stung by the words.

"You don't want her to have your name?" she asked.

"No," Percy said. He tried to keep his voice from shaking, but failed at every turn. "I want to have yours, if that's okay."

Yay! Thank you! I figured there weren't enough de-aged Steve fics, so when it was prompted, I decided to give it a shot. |D

I am reading a fic right now that is so bad, but so heartfelt that I just can't bring myself to quit. I don't know what it is. I thought of leaving some feedback, but I don't know exactly what would be constructive. The author hasn't specifically asked for any concrit anyway, and it seems like no one leaves it unsolicited these days...

It took me surprise tbh, I didn't go in expecting to ship it and then as I kept on watching the show I just liked it. So y'know I'm double gutted over Allison's death because that's two ships I like loosing one half of it. :/

This is your opportunity to jump on the Stiles/Parrish (Starrish? Piles? Lol, definitely Piles) bandwagon before it becomes the Dean/Cas ship of the fandom and overtakes Sterek. It will happen!!!!! /wishful thinking

I can totally understand feeling a bit protective of your ships! Ship and let ship is a fine philosophy but it isn't unusual for you to feel good about other people understanding your ship. (Or just thinking you aren't weird for liking said ship, lol.)

New fic is always a good thing! And tbh I am going to be waiting to see what the main ship out of this movie is, because quite honestly all the combinations are pretty amusing.

I am tbf being overly pessimistic, because that's how I roll, but lord knows I'm going to go see it anyway. They might just only get one viewing out of me instead of 2+, lol.

They really have no idea what they're doing with him and that makes me sad because he is one of my top two Marvel villains, like guys, just pick something and stick with it. It hasn't gotten to the level where I hate what they're doing with him but... it could and I do not relish that.

Now AU snippet, Sherlock BBC, Mystrade pairing:

It’s a day made for funerals. Vertical sheets of rain fall on the assembled people in the graveyard, huddled like crows under their umbrellas. Not one of them is a copper except Greg. John nods frostily at him as the church turns out and guilt twists in Greg’s chest.

After the service, the graveyard starts to empty quickly, a steady stream of people flowing away along the paths to the car park. Greg lingers for a moment, looking at the black marble headstone, feeling as if he should say something. He doesn’t know whether to apologise or curse the bastard.

“For fuck’s sake, Sherlock,” he settles on, speaking it quietly to the empty air.

In his mind’s eye he can almost imagine Sherlock’s contemptuous but amused snort, eyes rolling.

When I talk about seeing something between them I mean chemistry. I think the actors have tons of chemistry and that translates to the characters having good interactions. I don't think they're canon or ever will be but I enjoy their scenes and translate that to romantic chemistry for fic purposes.

OP, and I said this upthread, but if you want to get into The Sentinel here is my advice:

If you're a fan/ have got through other episode buddy cop shows for the slash - e.g. Hawaii 5-0, Due South, Starsky and Hutch - then I think you should be able to handle The Sentinel, if you're prepared to drastically lower your expectations of quality television. Basically, it's a pretty bad show. But it's also a very slashy show. A lot of things that are common in fic - e.g. Jim being to hear Blair's heartbeat in a crowded room/ across the country/ wherever - are pure fanon.

But a lot of other super slashy things - like Blair moving into Jim's apartment for 'a week' and staying four years, Blair doing weird experiments on Jim all the time, Blair and Jim touching all the time and being jealous of each other's love interests, and the season 3 and 4 finales - they all happened.

If you want to watch the show, just so you can say you've watched some of it, I would recommend the pilot, The Debt (when Blair moves in with Jim), Warriors (When lots of the spiritual stuff is introduced), the season 3 two parter finale and the final episode ever. Make sure you have a glass/bottle of wine with you, and let yourself be immersed in the one of the most ridiculous love stories never explicitly told.

I can't really put my finger on it. I think the shadows are in the wrong places, or they look like the wrong things, or maybe there shouldn't be shadows at all since it's so dark, but there are, and they're making my skin crawl.

Is his new eye plain or does it have Sharingan? So much for my hopes of eyepatch!Kakashi. And this whole shit with Naruto being able to just give Kakashi an eye is ridiculous.

Can't say I give a shit about who loves who. The shipwars might be fun to watch.

I'm not surprised about it going either way: people being confused about them having 'no scenes' together or being surprised when they don't meet just twice in the entire show and actually have conversations now and then. This fandom is so hostile and people on both sides blow things out of proportion on a regular basis.

IA, had I watched from the very beginning I'm not sure sterek is the one I would expect to have this kind of popularity (though I would expect some because they have good scenes + chemistry), but then again...the other pairings don't jump out at me either, so...

It is what it is.

I may have to at least youtube some of these 'I love you' moments... The writers of that show definitely know where at least some of there bread is buttered. All the major plotlines of the show keep moving away from Steve and Danny's relationship, but the episode tags reel you back in.

Oh, definitely. Very obnoxious in that case. No way around it.

I think it's the eyebrows and maybe a little bit of his nose and chin shape...it's entertaining when dialogue/voice-crossover happens, though - things get wonderfully ridiculous pretty fast.

Mostly yes, though you probably shouldn't be surprised by tumblr by now.
