I mean... how much more did you want HBO to show of Sansa and Sandor's ~romantic~ relationship??? A lot of that relationships exists in the character's heads? Do you want Sansa to have a dream sequence where she thinks she remembers Sandor kissing her?

Maybe they wanted a scene where the Hound admits he was going to rape Sansa but didn't go through with it. So romantic.

He didn't go there to rape her, he went to take her with him. Maybe try looking at the context of when he says this and *why* he would say such a thing to the person he was talking to.

I realize it's probably futile to argue with a SanSan shipper, but do you realize just how many abusive men can turn on a dime and go from screaming/physical attack to sobbing and "I love you don't leave me"s? Lots. It's why quite a few of their victims get confused and stay.

I don't know what he thought of doing but I don't think Sandor ACTUALLY regrets not raping her/ripping out her heart. I think it was largely a case of trying to push Arya into killing him.

You have zero reading comprehension if you actually believe that he went to her room to rape her. Not even Sandor himself knows what the hell he wanted from her that night.

DA. I... don't think he did? IIRC, he comes in raving about taking her away and she's just too freaked out to say anything, and he threatens her at knifepoint for a song, which (the way he says it, and the way he's said it in the past) has a connotation of sex, but his meaning is ambiguous. There's nothing else that indicates whether he wanted to rape her or that he was angry because she turned him down (she didn't).

He later admits he wanted to rape Sansa to Arya as a way of goading her into killing him. Although it's arguable how much he meant it, I think part of his self-loathing is tied up in the fact that there was a kernel of truth in everything he told Arya -- he was attracted to Sansa and part of him wanted her, and he was crazy and desperate enough that night to do anything, and that part disgusted him.

I think Sandor cared for her. Love is a strong word, I'm not even sure if he was capable of that at that point in his life, but I think he saw in her the only genuinely good person he knew. And as much as he despised weakness, he was enamored of that.

How about include the stuff that actually happens in the book?

I mean, lots of stuff from the books have gotten cut. (lmao as a Bitter Catelyn Stan, I am more than familiar with this fact.)

But what scene in particular do you think should have been included to portray a romantic relationship.

Well nearly every scene that they cut out with them, for starters. The fact that Sansa is one of the few people Sandor feels any real emotional connection to enough to open up to is something the show glosses over.

Maybe ave Sandor leave the white cloak for Sansa and have her keep it with her. Maybe have her mention that she regrets not leaving with him. Have Sandor actually talk about her with Arya like he does in the books. Even minor details such as him calling her "Stark bitch" as opposed to "the little sister" lessens the Sansa connection.

lol no. idk There was just a period of time a couple of years ago where F!S was inundated with SanSan secrets and it was kind of a shit show.

I'm surprised there aren't more. That whole bath scene from a few episodes ago seemed liked perfect, fucked up fuel for the ship.

Definitely are a lot less this season compared to last... Guessing either the ship has died down (I think Sansan has a bigger book following, and Ramsay/Theon a bigger show following so there's a greater potential for flash and burnout) or the majority of the secrets were made by one or two people who - for whatever reason - don't feel like posting.
