Okay let's see....

1.) when my folks are away on their vacation, I plan on using a peanut butter cookie mix that no one has touched in months and make cookie dough just to eat. No regrets.

2.) I am going to a comic con on Saturday. Just because I really want to go to a con just to experience it. But I'm also going to try to wash myself and my hair very well because I don't want to be judged as one of those "weirdos" people talk about at conventions.

3.) I get emotional ridiculously easily, and sometimes I feel ridiculous levels of empathy/sympathy toward INANIMATE OBJECTS. When My iPod went through the wash for the first time and I found it, I cried , curled up on the couch for fifteen minutes about how I "killed it". I was around sixteen or seventeen. It kinda creeped my brother out. When I'm mad I can punch pillows but I cannot stand to hit stuffed animals because I'll just imagine them crying and feel horrible. At some point when I was a kid, I read a list of the symptoms of Asperger syndrome -specifically the "lacking in empathy" bit and felt so confused about the lack of empathy I was supposed to have.

4. ) At point I thought that desserts labeled'Death By Chocolate" actually contained poison. I also misread "Heath" as "Health" and thus for the longest time I thought Heath bars were good for you. I probably assumed they were some granola thing and thus avoided them.

5.) I feel horribly bad for this, but when I was a teenager , I had one of my fancharacters originally being from Japan and had him use suffixes. I excused it as a quirk of Asperger Syndrome. To this day I feel especially guilty because as someone who actually HAS Asperger Syndrome, I should NOT be misapplying it to explain weeaboo behavior. I have grown up a lot since thin

Bonus: I still have Japanese OCs, but they are NOTHING like I wrote them when I was a teen-thankfully.

I beg forgiveness for some of these. Except the first one...I am not even sorry.

Enjoy your cookie dough and convention :) If you're worried about salmonella, I've found that cookie dough is just a delicious without the eggs.

The mix calls for eggs, any idea what to use instead?

Vegetable oil and water or possibly softened butter. Or I'm sure you can use eggs without trouble. I've never actually heard of somebody getting sick from cookie dough.

Yeah I've never gotten sick and I've had a LOT of cookie dough. Sometimes I would buy a pack of the stuff at work and just go through it during the week.

Pasteurized eggs also exist! I know this because you can buy cookie dough made with them (because the manufacturers wised up to the fact that people basically just buy cookie dough to eat it raw). I'm not sure where you can buy pasteurized eggs, but I know they are a thing.

However, I always just eat cookie dough even if it has raw regular eggs and it's never caused a problem for me. :P

Oh, another possibility: "egg beaters". I've never tried them bc they seem kinda gross for just straight-up scrambling and pretending they're eggs, but I know some vegan recipes use them for baking and I imagine they'd have the right consistency to make the dough what it's supposed to be.

I plan to go to Cincinnati Comic Expo in September. I plan to dress nice.

and I hope to talk to some people who are in comics and make comics because I have this one little webcomic I'm trying to do.

Also...at a comic con is it limited to just superheros or do they talk about other types of comics as well?

Comic cons are honestly big geek free-for-alls these days, though the focus will probably be on comic books as a medium (and since that's dominated in the US by the Big Two it'll be mostly superheroes.)

Marv Wolfman and George Perez are gonna be there, so I'm excited.

My roommate and I in college used to just buy tubs of cookie dough to eat, so no worries.

My parents seem to have it in their head that they need to help me lose weight a lot of the time. They probably assume if they have anything sweet in the house I'll eat too much of it at once.

Yeah, it tends to be.

Granted I did eat a lot of sweets when I had a job, but...I don't know I feel like I'm still pretty good, only about 160 (five foot sixish) and almost always super healthy.

yeah, that sounds pretty good! I'm five foot threeish and way at least as much as you (probably). Granted, I have dense bones, so that maybe mitigates 5-10 of those pounds, but basically while I still need to lose weight, I'm not obese and I'm fairly healthy and beginning to make better choices about food and exercise now that I'm not wired up about classes anymore. So basically, getting those kinds of comments when you're probably (I'd guess) either at a healthy weight or some where less than 20 pounds overweight is obnoxious.

Like I have a bit of pudge around the middle which would be nice to get rid of I guess... but I feel like they make it out to be more of a big deal than anyone else. Like I can usually cover it with my clothes and make it so no one really notices.

Smallville comic-con? That's in my town and I want to go, but I also don't want to go alone.
