1. WORD. Vader was kinda sexy. No, he was actually very sexy and intimidating and awesome.

Hayden made him a pretty-boy, whiny bitch. I don't even really consider the later 3 movies to be part of the canon XD

5. I have SKIN issues cuz I'm a Miyavi fan, and I think he's made so much progress since he started singing and playing his own songs. And now he's in a Gackt band, pushed to the back again. Argh. I hadn't heard about the racist thing, though. What's that about?

10. Bumi is the sexiest old man on the show. And Pakku's a close second. Then Iroh. Much as I love him, I wouldn't hit it. Bumi and Pakku? Uh... yes. In a second.

WORD. Miyavi is one of the best singers in Jrock today, one of the few people truly doing original stuff in visual kei, and he's being upstaged by someone who's not even vk anymore, much less good.

And I'm also a Yoshiki fan, and seeing people fucking blame Yo for Gackt's issues makes me headdesk myself senseless. NO, a drummer and pianist CANNOT make a vocalist sound worse or better. All Yoshiki could do was either up his volume (and risk ruining everything if Gackt continued to scream over him) or just keep playing and hope the sound guys correct it.

I know! And he doesn't seem to get much respect for it, even though he's really talented, and also just fun! I think one of the huge problems with vk is that everyone takes themselves so seriously. Gackt is a perfect example of this.

Yeah. Um. The vocalist is usually the only one who can mess up the vocalist. There's only so much a drummer can do. Sorry, Gackt, this one's all on you. I don't know Yoshiki's music that well, but I agree with this 100%.

But you MUST learn more. This is one of the founding people of the entire idea of vk, and his drumming and piano are some of the very best you can find, at least among rock musicians. Kurenai, Silent Jealousy. . . MANY more. So yeah, he's like the best fucking drummer in Jrock, one of the WORLD'S best drummers, and the founder of vk itself who helped bankroll Gackt at least once, and he gets blamed for Gackt's crap? THAT'S why I'm so fucking mad.

Gackt's ego is out of control. He gets a big name for himself as an insane vocalist, and suddenly he can do no wrong. Any time someone gets to a stage like that, it's just... not gonna be good. Mainly for them. So cut it out, Gackt. And stop being a loser. And blaming others for your own problems. Fool.

And yeah. Gackt's ego IS his primary problem, his fans feed it and encourage it, and he's becoming a crappy prima donna singer. Breaking up Malice Mizer was one thing, he did pretty well on his own after that, but breaking up SKIN, where Yoshiki likely only brought him in out of wanting to save his career? BAD. "I hope you see pink spiders kicking your ass in your dreams" bad.

Oooh cool! I'm already listening to 'without you' on the piano. It's sooo pretty! How many drummers can play the piano so fantastically and beautifully? I'm really starting to like him XD

Yeah. There is no excuse for Gackt. I mean, really. The band isn't that old. Why do you need to by so tyrannical about something that should be fun? I think it's just a Napoleon complex because he's so much shorter than everyone else in the band XDDDD I actually like some of his solo stuff. And it isn't so annoying when he's a diva, because at least he can't harm anybody else. But acting like that in band when you aren't as hot as you think you are just isn't right.

He's a piano virtuoso. He's actually played classical and rock both for it, as well as being one of the greatest drummers of all time. I hope something notes him in musical history in general outside of Jrock, since he deserves recognition for his achievements. . . ^_^

Yeah. I still have Mervilles by Malice Mizer as one of my favorite albums (it's how I got into Jrock, in fact, hearing a song from it), and a ton of Gackt's solo stuff on my playlist. It was all pretty good until the wheels totally came off late 05-early 06. And he hasn't seemed to even notice that Something Is Very Wrong, even when he's started lipsynching performances despite a vow never to do so.

It's so unfair that so many awesome artists don't get any attention just because they aren't involved in Western music. A drummer who can also play the piano like that is worthy of mention no matter where he's from. But I feel like a lot of the really talented Japanese musicians (and maybe other Asian musicians too) don't get attention for their achievements, just because they're Japanese. It's too bizarre.

I did't really like Malice Mizer all that much. They're a little too intense for me XD But I do like Gackt's solo stuff, because it's not so... industrial, maybe? It's just more fun XD 'Redemption' and 'Vanilla' are two of my favorites.

He needs someone to point this out to him, and let him know that he's kinda going down a slippery slope here. Because it can only get worse if he keeps wrecking himself like this.

Oh and while I'm on about Yoshiki, I found it rather interesting he tore up the stage after the SKIN live. There's only a few other times he was so mad he ripped up a stage, and all of them were near the end of X Japan as a band the first time around. So yeah, I find the tearing up the stage to be pretty significant, paired with that their promised CD never came out, that Gackt has no myspace friended by the others, and yeah. I have a feeling some major bad blood has occurred.

Seriously? that's INSANE! Yeah, for stuff like that to be going on so early in the band? REALLY not good. It can only get worse.

Gackt is a loser, and he has no friends. The more I learn about him, the more I think this is true. And isn't he also a lot older than the other members? Not that he's ancient, but I feel like there's some sort of gap.

But seriously. I saw a video of all of them doing a photoshoot together, and no one was talking. They were pretty much just... putting up with each other. It was weird.

The real fun begins around 2:26 or so (IIRC) when Yoshiki gets pissed. Oh yeah. I don't think this is theatrics, I think this is "Last Live when he was going to beat up Toshi" kind of stuff, and note at the end when Yoshiki finally stops tearing up shit, he interacts with the fans, then makes eyes at Miyavi, hands Myv some drumsticks, and it's over. He doesn't speak to Gackt.

Gackt's actually younger, but he ACTS like a washed-up bitter old man. Yoshiki's 42, Sugizo is in at least his 40s I think. Miyavi is the youngest at 26. The only gap is there because of Gackt's stupidity in treating three of the biggest stars of Jrock as his new backup band. I mean, seriously, there has to be some sort of instabadkarma for dissing Yoshiki like that.

And yeah, I think Gackt is a loser and is only really good at alienating people. Which isn't a very good talent to have, and an amazing one for a Jrock star to have: I mean, when people want to cuddle Kyo and people loved hide, making yourself unacceptable is pretty hard. . .

Phew. That was pretty intense. And he was throwing everything! Damn. At least it seems like he calmed down around the drumstick-throwing part. I'd probably feel better after all that throwing stuff around too XD Yeah. Nice of Gackt to just run off stage like that. And it could've just been the camera angle, but it looks like he didn't join in the pre-show "YEEAAAAH GO US" thing they were doing.

I think it's hilarious that Miyavi's just like "throwing stuff? AWESOME!"

Really? WOW. i definitely thought Gackt was older. He does act a lot colder than the others, plus taking top billing and the center position in everything. Wow. That makes him even more of a pretentious jerk. Does he seriously think he's better than these guys who've been such a huge part of the business for such a long time?

XDDDDD seriously! This is vk! You do crazy stuff with your hair and have music videos that have hearts being pulled out of people's chests, and you'll still be adored! It just takes a lot of effort to push people away like that!

This is what's pissing me off aside from the racism, it's that Yoshiki is the fucking founder of visual kei and Sugizo is from one of the legendary bands (Luna Sea), and Gackt goes "fuck you guys, you're my support band." NO. Gackt, it does NOT work that way, and I'd feel totally OK with seeing Mana and Yoshiki unite to make sure you remain a soloist or have to form your own band. In fact, I'd yell "YAY! BITCHSLAPPED!"

ahaha! That's FANTASTIC! "Sorry it's so spartan... but... uh... you know, when I just get mad, I can't help myself...." I think it's a pretty awesome coping mechanism. The fans seemed to like it, too XD I'm actually listening to "I'm Not Mad" on his MySpace page right now. And it's just... him destroying his drums. And the fans freaking out. But he's NOT mad, apparently. Okay, Yoshiki. Okay. Whatever.

And I so think Yoshiki and Miyavi could easily have something going on. In fact, I hope they do: that would be, as I've said elsewhere, one GOOD thing to result from this clusterfuck.

That would be AWESOME! I love Miyavi so much, and he deserves a good man ;D I don't see how something could not develop, what with Yoshiki wandering around shirtless and in pants that could've been painted on all the time. And with Miyavi just being so damn pretty all the time.

*not to diss on hide or Kyo. I love both, hide more, but both are talented and cool, and hide is awesomesauce. Just that there's a lot more reasons why stupid people would hate on them that they didn't make themselves or that they did for a reason, and yet Gackt seems to have this insane ego and purposefully does things to piss people off at him for no apparent reason.
