I got no work done today. I didn't really have much to do, but there were things I could have done. But I'm seeing my family on Friday for the first time in 2 years, and my brain is in going-home mode.

I came to work early today and spent three and a half hours on the phone with clients. It was horrible. But since I came in early, I get to leave early and I'm planning on watching SO MUCH GHOST ADVENTURES tonight. :3

Eh, better than yesterday at least. I managed to get part of my bedroom cleaned so I was at least mildly productive.

Also, I hit 10 kg of weight loss today (bit later than planned, but yay).

Cleaned my fridge, spent a long time weeding, and started drawing a Sailor Moon/Pokemon AU series. Feeling pretty happily productive today!

Plowing through video games, none of which are from the small mountain of games I've bought in the Steam sale.

Hope is such a tricky thing. I always used to think hope meant "this grand sweeping trust and faith that things will get better, and it will be accompanied by a sweeping orchestral score with a haunting but sweet violin solo and I will still be able to appreciate the beautiful things even as I hurt."

Which is...bullshit. Sometimes hope is like that - but not all the time. Hope is sometimes very small, very quiet. It's not always grand and profound. It doesn't always mean that you truly believe things will get better.

It just means that you haven't died yet and you're going to make sure that stays as status quo. Sometimes hope isn't about walking towards something better. Sometimes it's just about walking, period.

So...I hope things get better. I really do.

My mom's birthday is tomorrow, and I want to make her a key chain, but I've misplaced my jewelry pliers. I feel really stupid because I used them for something, and put them a way somewhere I usually don't, and now I can't remember where that is. I even recall telling myself I needed to put them back where they belonged for the next time I needed them, but I didn't.

Aaaaannnnnnddddd I just found them! YAY!

OK; had a GREAT weekend where I had a ton of fun, met a lot of people, etc and now I'm home and unemployed. Applied for a job today, and I'm waiting to hear back from an interview but they said they'd get back to me last week so I'm kind of wondering if they just don't like me...

waiting impatiently (when i should be sleeping) 'till 5am to go to the airport and fly to sweden! :D

My best friend is very sick and is in the hospital right now. I'm really worried about her but I can't afford to think about the worst outcomes. I'm trying to focus on compiling all our fandom crackfics we wrote together and sending them to her in a bound copy that you can print at Kinkos so she can have something to smile about. I've been meaning to do it for a while, but now seems like a good time.

I had my bowling class today, and I learned that I am really fucking bad at bowling.

Now I'm at the vets office with my cat, and my cat is so mad at me, and the vet had an emergency, so we aren't going to be on time, and I understand that, and I hope the other animal is okay, I do-! But I also want to get my cat back home since he's so grumpy. :(

On the plus side I was able to get McDonald's fries and a small ice cream earlier after bowling, and still stay under my calorie goal for the day. :D

I was sick this morning, but I'm feeling better now. Going to work tomorrow.

My day is less than half over, so I can't really say yet. Did some food shopping, the parts finally came in to repair my car's air conditioning, and I finally remembered to brew up some Thai iced tea to go with the leftover sweetened condensed milk from the lemon bars I made last week. When lunch has settled a little bit I'm going to make a chicken salad, and later tonight I'll be making a sausage, potato, and kale soup. But on the downside, I discovered a giant-ass hole in my walking shoes, so that's gonna be a massive chunk of change to replace.

I did coding and... stuff... today seems kinda like it didn't happen.

My toe is doing a bit better, so that's good. ...My chest has been hurting off and on for a couple weeks though, so I'm a bit worried about that. Hopefully it's stress related (I've been told that before) and not psoriatic arthritis (the podiatrist seems to think I have it), but who knows. I should probably see my regular doc but shit is expensive.

Did a little grocery shopping (and bought this, because how could I not want Batpig?), saw the nurse about my toe and cleaned the house. That's it, basically.

Sort of opposite for me today. This morning tracked down the cause of a bug in my code that had been bothering me for the last week, so I could finally fix it! Then I did a little revamping to my kitchen over the lunch break, so that I could start getting my fridge back against the wall (I'd had someone pull it out for me so I could open up the back and vacuum out the dust), involving cutting the bottom inch off some overhanging cabinets that hadn't been measured correctly. Now I don't have to crawl around my fridge to leave the house, and it's not sticking out into the room at a weird angle. ;)

Painted a new cosplay prop, did my shopping while I waited for that to dry, and my photo order was done by the time I was done with groceries - so I got to frame a pic of one of my costumes when I got home, and attach the ribbon I won from a con's hall contest. Also checked Gaia Online and found that one of my pricy items had sold in the MP... and someone had listed my current quest item for just SLIGHTLY less gold than I now had. :D :D :D

So yep. Feeling good now, watching baseball (my team is winning), debating whether to play my 3DS while watching or work on more costume stuff. Cause that paint is probably dry now...

Didn't do a thing the whole day. Well, I did a small thing, but it was really small. I recharged, so to say.
I tried watching a few old slashy tv shows I was recomended, that I didn't particularly like. I've read some Mystrade. Oh, good news, I finally got 5 stars on Lets Dance. 💃

Tired with a sense of foreboding. Woke up at 6 am, slept till 6:45, drove through a traffic jam to college and arrived late, and then finding out your lecturer had a car accident and the whole day is now free. Kinda feel guilty about it...

Also, I also have an assignment part that I needed to expand and edit by 5 pm. Other than that, I got new icons! :D

EDIT: I kinda feel whiny now after reading everyone else's responses.

Fucking humiliated. I was chatting to a casual friend (more than acquaintance, but not super close, and it was the first time we talked on Skype), tried to C&P a link, it didn't copy, and I accidentally sent her the link to a fairly explicit request blog instead. (It had shota on it, which was NOT what I was requesting, okay.)

I just really fucking hope she didn't actually look at it before I deleted the URL. This was like two hours ago and the conversation didn't go weird or anything but I'm still paranoid she's judging the fuck out of me.
