Guess the quote from movie/show/book/etc

(Anonymous) 2014-07-12 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
The lyrics one we did a few days ago was fun so maybe this one would be too, if not a little bit harder.

Could be any quote you want, make it easy or make it hard of it's a popular fandom.

(character names omitted for obvious reasons)

"Do ya ever wonder what woulda happened, if you'd been born handsome and charmin' and I'd been born a dullard?"

"Well, there are some things in this world you just don't have to wonder about."

...This sounds like something from Starsky and Hutch, but I'm not 100% certain because I haven't seen all of it. Now I'm curious.

And now I'm remembering the way Starsky's grin immediately dropped off his face into that kicked-puppy look. Those two were such great comedians. :)

For those of you who are like me, which is to say dyed-in-the-wool civilians, and therefore unfamiliar with the stuffy quaintness of military jargon, you should at least be made aware that it is a fantasy language all its own, specifically designed to hide its activities and attitudes beneath officious blandness. (My own personal favorite is referring to casualties as inoperative combat units.)

Sorry if any of the quotes are a bit off

The third one is the X-Files I think, but I can't remember which characters are having that conversation(I do know it's Orlando Jones(actor name not character), and I'm thinking Mulder?).

Let's see if I have some difficult ones for you. (You're warned, though, #3 is such cheese. XD)

1.

If I'm not back in five minutes...just wait longer.

2.

A: Excuse me.
B: This is how you treat your guests?
A: This is how I treat random strangers who barge into my apartment.

3.

A: I have a message for you, and the message is...DEATH!
B: Well, then you'd better give me the message.

4.

A: You pompous, stuck-up, snot-nosed, English, giant, twerp, scumbag, fuck-face, dickhead, asshole.
B: How very interesting. You're a true vulgarian, aren't you?
A: You are the vulgarian, you fuck.

5.

A: I can't really read music.
B: Oh, that's all right, son. Some people can't read the sign that says "toilet". Doesn't mean they don't know how to use it.

1. There is not a thin line between love and hate. There is, in fact, a great wall of China with heavily armed guards posted every few yards between love and hate.

2. What about that girl you gave a Coke bottle to for a nose?

3. Brian never cared much for the suburbs.

4. Fuck off, death!
