I'm here right now because i can't stand watching the fucking match anymore. I'm so sure they're gonna blow it arrgghhh!!!!:x

Every single time I looked away from the TV during the semi-finals, Germany scored a goal.

Clearly me watching them is unlucky, so I am sparing both of us and just not watching it right now.

And yeah, I haven't been watching the game at all. Just occasionally checking the score on Google. For luck.

The German goalie just gave Angela Merkel a little kiss on the cheek.

I'm feeling her joy tonight.

I don't even care who wins. I'm happy with the teams that are in the final, and I'm okay with either winning.

lol at how many security guys it took to get the streaker off the pitch. But now, could they please score? i don't want to watch 30 extra minutes of this :(

The second half is pretty boring so far.

It's hard to call it but I say Argentina might swing a goal in time before penalties.

I'm just annoyed really since the Netherlands is out.

I think he literally took 4 or 5 for the team, forget taking one. And played all 120', damn. The clinching goal is nice and very important and all, but...

And all that pressure on Messi in the end, I felt so bad.

(Aaaand I jsut realized all those jokes about how Argentina is going to pass the ball to Messi and pray for a last second miracle LITERALLY CAME TRUE)

I'm so confused (but like in a positive way) how many people were cheering for us! It's so great, I'm so proud of our boys! :D

Well, personally I was rooting for Germany because I felt like they had played the best and deserved to win and also because they had played the cleanest game and hadn't done anything that would make me mad if they won (cough:Brazil:cough).

And also LOOK AT THE CUTIES.

SO HAPPY.

Not really sure I'd root for a team solely for the attractiveness of their players. I think Spain has the hottest players, but I was never rooting for them. Also, several of the Dutch players are hot and I was rooting for Argentina.

They're really good, and also have a lot of really cute players

like who? lol i'm German and look-wise i don't really fancy any of them. Except maybe Müller because he looks so normal in a funny way and has scary teeth and he's so smart <3 Thats nothing to do with looks really but i've had much beer and things like winning the world cup won't happen again anytime soon:)

okay how exactly does you being german factor into how cute someone is? :P

i really like schweinsteiger and neuer personally.

I've been a fan of Germany since they hosted in 2006, when I first got into watching football. I live in the US so interest here isn't as high as the rest of the world, but by the 2006 World Cup I was pretty interested in learning more about the sport and the players. I really came away from the World Cup liking Germany, so they've been my favorite national team since. It's kind of weird, I know, because I'm not German (I'm Asian American actually LOL), but damn it, I love this team so much! I was so glad to finally see HAPPY Basti at the end of a tournament rather than sad Basti (which always tore me up in the past).
