Some ground rules:

Yeahhh, I agree. I'm an atheist and I'm not fond of Lewis' views on the matter, but I like and accept the fact that the Christian motifs are a major part of his works. Otherwise I just wouldn't like his works at all.

Of course everyone enjoys fandom differently, but liking Lewis' books while disliking the Christian undertones is spectacularly missing the point. And certainly the opinion that this has anything to do with the actual technical quality of his stuff is eyeroll-worthy.

On a completely unrelated note, the Inspector Morse fanbase kind of depresses me with their utter indifference towards the book!verse. I'm definitely not a purist, and Dexter himself loves the TV canon, but why does no one even bother to read the books?? :/
