I'm just too lazy to make it a secret, so here:

WHY DO FANARTISTS DRAW THE HAIR ON BAGGINS' FEET ON TOP OF EACH FOOT RATHER THAN ALL OVER IT?? that does bugger all to protect him from the cold, oh my god

I suspect it's because really hairy feet aren't considered pretty, and it makes me even madder.
