Games you mess up hiliariously on.

Today a friend showed me a horror game called "Lakeview Cabin" (which is pretty NSFW, mostly violence and some nudity, there may be more I can't get past the boss), and I tried to play it. But it seems that all I can do is mess up in pretty amazing ways. These include:
Stepping in a bear trap because I couldn't figure out how to get a key.
Setting said bear trap on fire.
Setting myself, the boss and a random deer, who had lost her legs, on fire. The deer seemed confused but otherwise fine despite being legless and on fire. The boss dragged me into the lake and we were both still on fire.
Setting something on fire that wasn't meant to be set on fire, so it turned into a big green box.

All in all... maybe I'd have a better chance if I didn't get set on fire so often...

Terraria. I am just terrible at it.

Years ago I played a racing game with my friend called Downhill Domination and I kept getting lost. Sometimes I'd even end up going uphill somehow. My sense of direction is so pathetic, even in video games.

I'm really, really at controlling the horse from Shadow of the Colossus. So I've had a few incidents of getting the horse stuck in really ridiculous places.

I was playing Prisoner of Azkaban for the PS2, and I don't remember what level it was on, but there must have been a glitch somewhere because while I was playing Hermione at one point she just fell through the floor, and kept falling forever. I figured all I had to was get to the next part and it would sort itself out but that didn't work. I had Harry and Ron in the next part of the level, but when I switched back to Hermione she was still falling into a void.

I thought I was OK at DDR until this one time I was playing it at an arcade game and for some reason my feet were just in all the wrong places. And my Asian friend was like: "WHY ARE YOUR ASIAN GENES NOT WORKING YOU ARE LOSING TO OUR GERMAN BUDDY"

Haven't played it since but I'd be willing to try again, lol.

I miss DDR so much. I used to play for hours at a time (I had everything I needed at home) but the last time I tried I found out that my joints had gotten so bad that my knees were shaking violently and refusing to hold my weight in under ten seconds.

Anything requiring too much patience. I just get bored and stop paying attention and invent different ways to do it (even when the game clearly doesn't want you to) which often end in hilarious failure.

Mirror's Edge. Still haven't went back to that game, but it amazes me how terrible I am at it. The fighting in particular...like, no. (And some of the escape sections were next to impossible. It's a unique, gorgeous, fun as hell game, but it was not anywhere near easy for me. I mean...I got stuck on climbing a billboard, so that should tell you something.)

Bayonetta. Just in general. Eventually I got the hang of it; made it through, was much improved, but it took SO much trial and error. Also lollipops.

The last stage of BioShock Infinite made me want to throw my controller at the TV. I wasn't fast enough at killing the enemies or traversing the area, and it was one hell of a pain in the ass getting through it. (TIME SENSITIVE GAME MISSIONS SUCK.) Almost turned the game to easy difficulty just so I could get through it, which I really didn't want to do. (Those gamerpoints, man.)

I somehow managed to beat The World Ends With You without any capability to control both characters at once. The only fight where I even bothered doing anything with the top screen was Minamoto's bossfight, and then I was frantically mashing buttons to switch the light puck back to the bottom screen. (This meant that the top screen character tended to get the living crap beaten out of them, but I had a pin that heals you when you touch it, a pin that automatically heals you at low health, and a pin that gives limited-use pins more uses, so I survived okay.)

I was pretty similar when playing that game. I tended to just button mash and focus on Neku really.

I tended to do really well with Beat, and he's supposed to be the hardest partner to use well.

The first time I played a FPS game I was horribly bad at it. I don't even remember what it was, some PC ARMA-like game. My ex was really into them and wanted me to play with him. I don't know why I was so bad and freaked out about it because I was/am an avid gamer. I was just used to more over-the-shoulder POV. I was really freaked out playing it and every time someone would come into view I'd scream from being startled. I'm much better now, but it was pretty bad.

I'm really not very good at videogames in general, beyond children's games like Pokemon, or maybe Plants vs Zombies.

I think my favorite videogame fail was when I SOMEHOW managed to miss all of Lizbeth's plot in Clive Barker's Undying. I don't even remember how but I replayed it again a little while later and managed to get on that path and I was like WAIT THIS WASN'T HERE BEFORE

In any FPS I will manage to kill myself without fail, usually by not realising that I have in-fact selected the grenade launcher/gun of explody death and proceed to accidentally fire it at my feet.

I've also killed myself in WoW in various stupid ways, usually by completely misjudging how far I am going to keep going when I dismiss my flying mount and I end up hurling myself off of a cliff.

This is kind of embarrassing, but I messed up on Sims 2 horribly until I downloaded a bunch of mods that made the game less chaotic. Like stuff that would stop visitors and relatives from harrassing sleeping babies, prevent sims obsessing over the computer, etc.

My first three sim kids all grew up badly. Their mother went into aspiration failure and I didn't know what the hell was going on when the magic therapist showed up to cure her. Nobody in the family ever got promoted above job level three because I couldn't figure out that they needed to make friends to earns career advances.

And I had to lock babies in doorless rooms so they could sleep, because I could not keep the other family members busy enough that they'd leave the baby alone. (They like to take turns waking up the exhausted baby in order to put it to bed because it's tired.)

And I accidentally triggered some kind of object duplication bug in buy mode and duplicated the Noodle Soother reward object all over the lot. I had actual fences made out of Noodle Soother helmets. And it was the most useless reward object in the game, to boot.

lmao, but was that even the 'bad' ending? From the (admittedly little) I've heard about that game, most the endings are brutal.

Any game that has driving in it, I'm terrible at. I want to play stuff like the GTA games and Saint's Row, but I'm so horrible at the driving part.

Reading this made me laugh so hard. Maybe you should find some games about setting things on fire, sounds like you'd be amazing at them!
