Seconding the art for Crystal. I'm going to add that I'm really disappointed by the animation as well. It just keeps getting worse.

Rei's broken face made something in the pit of my soul hurt.

I'm honestly considering giving up on the show entirely if the art continues being this bad. Like, if it 100% follows the manga after all, I'll just go read that again, I don't need it narrated to me with terrible animation.

Teen Wolf. I am always displeased with the lack of Stiles/NOTDEREK fic. Just...so disappointed. (ಠ_ಠ)

There was also a movie I watched recently that really disappointed me but I can't say what because I wrote a secret about it. (；一_一)

SERIOUSLY on Teen Wolf. Yesterday I published a genfic and 12 hours later it was buried beneath 5.5 pages of Sterek and AUs and Future-fic AUs (all mostly involving Sterek), and it was super disappointing.

Haha, I'm actually having so much fun with this season of Teen Wolf. It might have to do with the train wreck that was last season, but it's like a return to form with the layers of swiss cheese (the holes are plot holes, but it's okay).

eta: oh whoops nvm totally misread ya. sterek prevalence is always a disappointment.

I've been displeased for a while with the general lack of quality fic for TW. Maybe it's just me losing interest in the fandom completely, but it feels like there isn't all that much fic worth reading anymore. Either it's short 200 word drabbles, babby's first fanfics, or AUs that are damn near unrecognizable as anything related to TW.

You'd have to shovel an avalanche of crap before finding anything worthwhile.

The Game of Thrones season finale was really, really disappointing for me. There was some of it I liked, but overall, it was a letdown.

I agree. But then again, I think the last couple of books were kind of dull in a lot of places and went way downhill, so I think the show is reaching the point where they are running out of good stuff to put in. I wish Lady Stoneheart had been there because that would have made it better, but I don't entirely blame the showrunners for the dullness of the final.

Well I read that the 12th Doctor is so rude that they'd probably have to call him "Doctor Rude." Heh. And that he barely even recognizes Clara as a girl.

I'm actually excited about him being so different. Other Doctors in the past have been rude. I think it will be a nice change of pace. And anything is better than a romance with Clara.

I keep expecting RWBY's non-action scenes to not extremely suck. It keeps forcing itself to be "like an anime" and completely failing at it, and you end up with uncanny valley for genre cliches mingled with western cartoon cliches. I just want Miles, Kerry, and Monty to just let it become it's own thing if that makes any sense.

I still like Adventure Time, but I find this season so far to be a lot less engaging than the last season. I've found most of this season's episode to be pretty boring in comparison. I don't know what happened

I would really like to be able to find some Thor fanfiction that's actually about Thor. Not Thorki, not villain!Thor to woobie!Loki. Not dumb Thor as comic relief background character. Just some actual plot-based fic with Thor as a main character.

I feel like it shouldn't be this hard to find, but it's hard to find any Thor in the avalanche of LokiLokiLoki.

I watched the fourth and final season of "The Killing" on Netflix yesterday...so spoilers.

I must say, I do like that Netflix puts all the eps up at the same time....



So, the ending is ~4-5 years in the future...Holder is a dad (he and the moms didn't make it as a couple, quelle surprise) and Linden comes back to town (she'd left at the end of the current day story and hit the road) and he's working with N/A meetings. They talk, he wants her to stay, she starts to leave...cut to the very end, he's leaving the meeting and looks up to see her leaning against her...he walks toward her and as they get close, the camera focuses in on her smiling face and.... Cut to black. It's basically implied by that that they're going to hook up as lovers.

Obviously, open to interpretation, but from their convo just before the end...that's the direction they hinted at, very strongly. I'm just disappointed they went there. Why couldn't they have just been friends with that friendship being strong enough to keep her in the city? I guess I should be glad they left it until the postscript to have them hook up.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 kinda killed my love of the fandom.

I mean, introducing badass!Valka, only to turn her into a Damsel in Distress the moment Stoick showed up. The fact that a male dragon controlling other dragons was okay, despite the fact the previous movie was about fighting a female dragon doing the same. And fridging Stoick like that just felt unnecessary. Also, the shout "We have OUR DRAGONS!" at the end felt really out of character for Hiccup.

Basically, half the movie felt like cheap emotional shots that could have been better written, but weren't.

I started Radiant Historia after hearing good things about it from various people, and being prodded by someone awesome to whom I owe a favor, so that maybe we can cosplay from it together... and it really is a great game! I have trouble putting it down at night to actually go to bed.

But the bit where every time I travel back to particular nodes I have to fast forward through the same lengthy cut scene YET AGAIN just to get to the point where I can go out into the city and find whoever it is I need to find at that particular point in time? Let's just say I'm really, really tired of seeing Dias and Selvan have lunch together.

Not entirely disappointment (not yet), but I just started got started with a new pairing in a fandom I've never been in, (it's HP, Dramoine pairing) I'm halfway done reading my first fic--and it's amazing! Characterization is point, plot is incredible, and it's just great.

I'm just worried every other fic will fall short. And I now have my headcanon Draco characterization. :[

Any recs of amazing dramoine fic? And thank yu slr2 if you see this.

I really wish PBS would air Downton Abbey and Call The Midwife at the same time as they come out in the UK instead of months later. I caved on the last two seasons of Downton Abbey and downloaded them, but it would just be easier if they aired them at the same time.

Oh, and it makes me sad how few smutty fics there are for one of my favorite pairings (Friedrich and Jo from Little Women). I know it's not a super popular pairing, but still!
