Are we even sure it was a confirmed robbery? It's not like he shoplifted; he went to the counter, seemingly to pay. It looks like he and the clerk had a disagreement and he shoved the clerk out of his way. Unsure why we can drag the friend's reputability through the mud but no one questions the clerk's pov.

And this calls into question the star witness to what happened. His friend lied about what happened before they were stopped by the cop. Who is to say he isn't lying now?

Well, ARE we sure? The footage is there, but we can't hear any dialogue.

Also, there were witnesses about the surrender.

Yeah, the store clerk just tried to stop him from leaving for no reason, right? And how the guy, his friend, and the other guy jerk back from the cashier.

I said they had a disagreement, not that the clerk is making shit up. Obviously they weren't pals, but we're believing one guy 100% even though we can't confirm why they had a scuffle. He went up to pay-- either he was denied for some reason or they had an argument about the amount exchanged. This wasn't a premeditated robbery.

Why would you say that? What facts led you to this conclusion?:

So like, what, Brown walked up to the counter, in the line of sight of the camera, and put the cigarettes on the counter just to taunt the clerk about the robbery he was about to commit? Was his friend there to cheer him on on this? Because the police has confirmed he didn't have a part in the alleged robbery.

Are 18-year olds allowed to buy tobacco products there? Because if not, it looks to me like he didn't have a valid ID but wanted a smoke anyway.

Why only steal that if you're robbing a store?

Flavored cigars=blunt wrappers=pot. It's extremely common. Teenagers steal cigars from the liquor store near me all the time. It's a huge problem, actually.
