11 that's really too bad ): though to like a series you don't have to be active in fandom. A lot of the time you can find either the fans you DO find yourself reminding you of why you liked the series or just privately revel in whatever attracted you to it in the first place |D.

25 It has a fandom! Though it is a bit older, it's one of my first series and will never leave my 'first fandom loves' spot ♥

28 XD I wonder if that really works! As a psych student I can't say I see any improvement in my characterization, but I do get a kick out of things and think "MAN this is an AWESOME example of x,y,z if only I wouldn't feel like a total nerd bringing this up in class!" So XD

But the only one I really pay attention to his House these days; I don't watch Grey's, I haven't seen the new season of Nip/Tuck, and I haven't watched ER in two years. I think this fandom is scary in general, but the fact that there are people who find Gabriel Gray hot (not likable, or sympathetic, or interesting, or endearing, but hot) is probably the scariest thing I've found out in it.

Honestly, if a guy like Gabriel Gray liked me, I'd constantly fear he'd one day snap out of his repressed self and rape me. :/ At least with Sylar the nuttiness is blatantly apparent, whereas Gabriel ... is just creepy.

But each to their own.

11. Don't let the fandom get to you. It annoys me too so I stay away from it for the most part. Find some sane people who like the series (if you already don't know anyone) and add them to your flist. That way you can still enjoy talking about the series with them.

25. Angel Sanctuary is one of my favourite series. And I felt the same way when I finished it, I wish it had an active fandom. Who's your favourite character anyway? I'm really curious now.

26. Oh man...That's awful. But honestly, it's not stupid to feel guilty at all. I had a friend who died in a car crash three years ago, and I still feel guilty for knowing the end of Inuyasha, which was still airing when he died. And I can't really enjoy anything to do with Transformers because I associate that franchise with him like a Pavlovian reflex. *hugs* For what it's worth, I think she'd be happy that you got to finish the series, since she wanted you to see it when she was alive.
