Dude, it's not like he's underweight. I don't think this is the sign of an illness or eating disorder. Having recently dieted I can even tell you that he probably didn't even lose THAT much weight, 10-20 pounds can actually be a more dramatic difference than you think.

Yeah, I never quite got the idea of it being an actual sexual relationship either - mainly because it'd make Ayla one of Marle's antecedents and there's [i]no way[/i] they would have just ignored or glossed over that.
