I usually notice it and don't let it bug me too much but recently in the htgawm fandom, the disparity between the fandom's love for Wes and Connor has ticked me off.

LOL, well, any future person who might lick or nibble your ears will probably be grateful. It's gross trying that with someone's earwaxy ear...

That's one of the reasons I clean my ears every day, and have this usually ignorable but niggling worry about someone licking them and finding a glob of earwax.

The actual root was from a yo-yo convention I went to as an impressionable kid at some mall. This yo-yo master champion was a guest at this summit, and he had pulled up this kid as a volunteer to do tricks around for the audience. What really stuck out to me was when he went to do the pendulum by his ear, and noted that boy's ears were really really clean. So now I'm stuck with this in my mind, because what if a yo-yo master does tricks by my ears, and I didn't prepare myself with clean ears.

The root of your ear cleanliness is adorable, and I wish to give you the fistbump/hug/approving nod of your choice.

Believe me, that's a subject that comes up a LOT at the Secret Council of Yo-Yo Masters. Some kids' ears are just gross, and you'd better believe we notice.

This Ahsoka fan is currently wearing a big, smug grin.

How much earwax would you have to make for someone to taste it while nibbling your ear? Unless they have an anteater tongue and they're getting inside the ear canal...

Isn't nibbling usually restricted to the lobe and shell?

I don't get it.

It can be more than just earwax - general dirt building up in the creases of the shell might be unappealing.

How ears can be dirty? I mean, what, are there any dark smudges or caked dirt? And evdryone cleans them anyway, so that nothing blocks the sound. oO

It reminds me of Pratchett. It's not the exact quote, but it goes like this... People say that you need to always wear clean undies because you never know when you die. However witches know their day of their death. And this explaines a lot about witches.

Things can get gross in the outer ridges of the ear, behind it, and around piercings if people leave them in all the time. It's not just the inside that needs maintenance. Usually if you get your head wet in the shower every day, toweling the ears off with the hair is an afterthought, but not everybody does that.

Have you actually tried getting licked in the ear? It is terrible! It gives me full over body shivers of the very extremely palpably wrong kind. I need so much breathing space to recover after, that continuing with sex is right out of the picture. With fanfic I just glance over those passages to not lose the mood completely. Hrrr!

Same here. In the realm of fiction, everyone's clean.

I don't mind rimming and foot worship in fiction, but in real life, I feel kinda icky towards it (though it all depends how clean you are, haha).
