The varying degrees of Spock's 5 o'clock shadow under his pancake makeup are almost as funny as Kirk's fluctuating waistline. Some things were not meant to be remastered/in HD!

...Before I'm dogpiled, I should state that I find both extremely endearing, and I wouldn't have TOS any other way!

I absolutely adore TOS and both Spock and Kirk, but IA so hard. I found Spock's varying shades of lipstick, rouge (when he's supposed to have GREEN BLOOD) and eyeshadow the most noticeable, but... ;)

Tangentially related am I the only one who thinks it's strange that the guys in teen wolf aren't hairier. I mean they are wolves you would expect some chest hair.

I think there's actually a strange version of the werewolf myth where you're supposed to look for strangely hairless people in the human form (as in, things like no eyebrows, or chest hair, not necessarily bald), because their hair is inside their skin as the wolf's fur. If you cut a suspected werewolf, you'll see the fur inside the wound.

God, yes. Nowadays a tiny glimpse of chest hair under a shirt collar makes me feel like Victorian gentleman catching sight of a narrow ankle. Luckily the "no chest hair" rule in the media hasn't yet completely spilled over into real life.

Hairy dude lovers unite! I gotta say I liked them more in shows from a long time ago though. For some reason, hairy guys today seem to be too "show offy" about their hairiness, instead of the hair just kind of being there. My favorite was Starsky in Starsky and Hutch. *wistful sigh* Beautiful, beautiful...

Hairy guys are my absolute favorite. Although...while hairy chests are pretty great, when really really turns me on is hairy forearms. It's the forearms that are the best.

I don't really expect to see hairy guys in recent things, so when I do it's always a wonderful surprise, but old shows like Star Trek were great for this. Plus, it's illogical for Vulcans to shave...I guess.

There's definitely a point where a guy is too hairy, but I'll definitely always take at least some hair over none.
