I have never heard of Muse, but I roleplay, so I was understandably confused by this secret.

For about five hot minutes I was thinking, "There's an ONTD for our muses? Someone trawls RP communities and gossips about the dirty dirty secrets and bad fashion and ugly children and drug addictions of our roleplay characters? Wait... what?"

And I riffed on how cool that would be until I looked up the group and saw that it was really an ONTD for a band. Which - good on you for no wank. That's impressive, 'specially if you're a really busy comm.

But damn. I'm so disappointed. There's no RP gossip hub. Phoo.

13. What is with the feminist-hating-related secrets? I know I must be late to this one, buuuut whatever.

While I have no specific information, maybe it never seems as bad to YOU as "they make it out to be" because you are viewing it from your male privileged standpoint. It is pretty easy to ignore something when you never have to deal with it directly.

Life is sexist? Yes, unfortunately it is. That doesn't make sexism okay. That doesn't mean you should not fight for equality. If oppressed groups took on that kind of attitude, nothing even resembling quality would ever be reached. The world may never be perfect or equal but you will certainly never know for sure unless you try.

Armchair activists exist in every kind of issue, but for all you know, these women (and feminist men do exist, too; are they okay?) you're complaining ARE involved in real life activism domestically and/or internationally.

If you hate all women because of one group you disagree with, then hey, thanks for proving the point.

Your little rant is nothing new and is rather typical of privileged men and everyone else trying to disprove anything a feminist says because they don't want to think about it. The only thing we need is insults about our appearance or sex lives and then we'd have anti-feminist bingo!

Hun, you're so not alone and shouldn't even have to make that a secret, JDox is THE biggest Scrubs Ship on LJ. If you haven't already, come over to jd_cox or scrubsfic or even scrubs_slash. Believe me, it's more normal to ship JDox than Jelliot I've found, though Jelliot does have some nice fics as well.
