5. FUCK YEAH, KENPACHI.
God, I don't even like muscular manly men in the slightest and if he* pointed at me and said "Now!", I think my clothes would spontaneously combust or something.
*You can replace this with "Uruhara" and it will still be true.

21. I feel guilty too, so I just tend to stay out of it when people are squealing over Ten/Rose or whatever. I don't care if people see me as a crazed yaoi/yuri shipper, het's just not my thing, so I just don't talk about it that much. It's easier than pretending to like something you don't.

#13 thinks that because life is sometimes sexist (or racist, or homophobic, etc) you should stop examining, questioning or trying improve things. Critical reading is for 'feminist cunts'. Isn't that fucking SPECIAL?

Or he's a troll, either way I LOL'd.

Lol, are you freaking serious? What makes you think that us "feminist cunts" who talk about sexism in video games don't care about women in Iran or any other feminist issue?

Oh, and guess what, fucktard? Guys like you are the reason feminism exists. Good job!

18. I dunno, I have a myspace and only my close friends know I like anime, not a one knows that I do anything more than watch it, especially not that I read/look at porn of it

#23 AND #31

[identity profile] numb3r-5ev3n.livejournal.com 2007-12-30 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
#23: I know how you feel. But to this day, I still can't decide if I like "Episodes 1-3" or not. They just feel so AU to me at so many points.

#31: I think that folks doing the math in HBP depended entirely on whether or not they liked Snape as a character. I think that those who liked him were more willing to give him the benefit of the doubt as far as being a "Double/Triple Agent."

Oh, I just remembered that I wrote a post on the subject after reading HBP for the first time...wow. (http://numb3r-5ev3n.livejournal.com/120146.html)

Maybe in some cases, but not so for me. I hadn't thought much of Snape throughout the first five books (teachers bullying children for a power trip = FAIL), but once I put together what had happened in HBP, I was suddenly very intrigued by him.

plz let this be a troll, and not a real person. Because, seriously, a man who says that there will never be true gender equality and people who try for it are ungrateful cunts who make him hate all women? Yeah. :|

I dunno, I'm calling troll. I mean, come on. "I really wish there were no girls on the internet"? rofl, welcome to LJ fandom, for one. and for two, everyone knows there aren't any GUYS on LJ. clearly this is a manufactured lie. please god don't let anyone take that seriously

7. They're still married. XD

10. ...Everything you just listed is why I love Tenipuri so much. Most series take themselves too seriously. Tenipuri knows what it is: cracked out tennis manga about boys who defy physics on a daily basis. I find it refreshing~

Not secret 1: While I basically agree with you for the most part, here's a Big Truth. Making a secret with light text on a light background? BURNS PEOPLE'S EYES.

Not secret 2: in b4 wank lol

13. You had me until the "there will never be true equality, just deal and be grateful you've got it as good as you do". Who are you to tell us we're not allowed to wish things were better in real life? That we should just sit down, shut up and take it because our being annoyed is pissing you off? I call misogynist. Or shit-stirring troll.

26. Sakura #2 looks hotter.

34. ...what the hell does this have to do with fandom? Also, TMI.

Though I do agree that if someone's gonna complain about women's rights, they should be rallying for something in the REAL WORLD, not some pointless fandom or entertainment thing.

Who says that people who complain about sexism and misogyny in fiction aren't also protesting real-world issues?

"Go do something REAL, like helping oppressed Muslim women!" is one of the most popular ways to shut down discussion of sexism in fiction. Oddly, the people who trot it out rarely themselves care much about the poor oppressed Muslim women. They just want to shut down discussion.

10. But by not being in fandom anymore, you miss things like Echizen's new move! =0 I don't know what the move actually is, but I do know that its name is "Super Ultra Great Delicious Crazy Mountain Storm." </deadpan>

But I do know exactly what you're talking about. Reading manga that actually has plot makes me all kinds of happy now, and I thank TeniPuri and that idiot Konomi for that.

[identity profile] aishiteru.livejournal.com 2007-12-30 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
13. I feel like this secret reeks of troll and is not worth dignifying with an actual response. (in before wank?)

16. Dude, I played it. Got all the way through Riku's story only to get stuck on the second to last battle. Sigh.

25. ... That's .. not a good thing. You should probably .. I don't know. Seek some sort of help? I swear I'm not trying to be condescending; that's worrisome.

Gah... I could bite so many of these lines cast out today, but I'm not feeling so confrontational.

All I have to say is:

26. I'm with ya; that pisses me off more than it should... At that age, Sakura's still flat as a board!!! I can't believe Sakura can still get me so blasted worked up over this series XD. At least we'll apparently be getting some more focus on her in the upcoming year <3.

1. Is it shameful to love him? I have been into him from the opening credits and have exclaimed aloud that he is "hot"!

5. Ken-chaaaaaan! Pointy incisors and bloodlust > hair noodles.

OP 1

(Anonymous) 2007-12-31 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
It's not so much shameful to love him as much as I felt ashamed for laughing at that person, then falling in love myself and being haunted by that any time I thought about Ryuk. I'm very much open to the fact that I think Ryuk is one of the greatest fictional characters ever and I'm always happy to find people that feel the same way!

(Anonymous) 2007-12-30 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Jesus fuck, what is with all these unreadable secrets today?

7. Oops.

13. In b4 wank?

19. Mine too.

24. I KNOOOOOOW.

26. FUCKING HELL YES. Seeing small-chested girls grow 3 cup sizes in doujinshi pisses me off so much.

[identity profile] wazira-sharira.livejournal.com 2007-12-30 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
13. I'm a feminist in fandom. That being said, I can see that some of them are kind of whiny. But I do NOT want an either-or statement (if you're bitching about Kingdom Hearts, you can't possibly care about women's rights in the real world? That's a load of bovine excrement and you know it.) You're a misogynist fuckwad, and I don't want those on my Internet any more than you seem to want girls on yours. Problem is, neither of us seem to be going anywhere.

Damn, I need an icon of someone other than Jafar for feminist posts.

[identity profile] vontriz.livejournal.com 2007-12-30 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
11. That's quite sad. That occurance was the turning point from me kinda liking the series to loving it. So, yes, quite a sad secret.

13. I lawled. Cue wank!

[identity profile] gunfuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-30 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
6. I remember I found this epic Saix cosplay on Cure and was like "holyshit this guy is so hot slfksahfsa" and then...it turned out it was a girl and it was v. disappointing. SO I AGREE WITH THIS SECRET. Though I don't think there's anything wrong with having girls crossplay at all--some of them are so freaking amazing it isn't even funny, it just yeah would be nice to see some guys out there doing it too.

19. I laughed, but you're not alone trust me. Sometimes I hear things from like FAMILY members that sounds oh-so suggestive and I laugh to myself.

34. Um....wow. The only thing I can suggest is to get help, no matter how good it might feel, it's only going to be worse in the end for you and might have some dire consequences. Though on a fandom related note...when I was a lot younger I used to wish I had tuberculosis for the sole fact that it seemed like every anime character I was obsessed with ended up coughing blood at SOME point in their role. So I don't see it as foolish, but it's not exactly helping you to get better if that's how you picture it.

D: I PLAYED IT. Hell, I bought a Game Boy Advance for the sole purpose of playing it. ._.;;; And I.. well, I'm not quite done with Re:CoM because the card system was painful enough the first few times around, but I'm at least three fourths of the way finished. How I hate the card system. Hate.
