I think if you'd just read the first 3ish books you could believe that Malfoy had the potential to be like fanon Draco and we as readers just hadn't got to see his personal side. But as the series went on it became very apparent that Malfoy was not like fanon Draco.

Hijacking your thread to go lioden anyone?

My username is fluffbutts and my sub account is flufferbutts. I'm still a bb account but anyone want to buddy up?

I recently saved enough SB to get 10GB and immediately spent it on the extra cub stages :D

Snape at least is badass. Like, you can sort of respect him because he's an excellent wizard and was able to defend his mind from fucking Voldemort. Doesn't excuse his MANIFEST character flaws and choices, like bullying little children, but he did have something to respect. Draco was always such a jealous little weenie. I NEVER got why he was so popular. He wasn't a true rival to Harry, they weren't equals, he was always panting after Harry, trying to measure up and failing.

yeah, there was an anon who'd harass another member, jaybie, at any given opportunity over OCs and the harassed member ended up leaving. probably some of the nastiest stuff i've seen here.

I don't think it's so bad, at least not if your picky about who to pay attention to. The world lends itself to a lot of good, thoughtful discussion.

And crazy ranting.

That, I can not deny, alas. The gay bookstore has become mostly a thing of the past, though a few hang on.

Oh, Tom Paris/Tuvok is awesome.

(Anonymous) 2015-01-24 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
I also like Tom Paris/Seven and the occasional Tom Paris/Kathryn Janeway (I like Bridget Cochran's J/P and P/7 https://www.squidge.org/blts/archive_cochran.html).

This is one of my favorite Tom Paris/Tuvok stories - http://www.tomparisdorm.com/viewstory.php?sid=593&chapter=1

Here are some Tom Paris archives:

I see you haven't come across that movement yet. You might want to keep it that way.

I wasn't the one asking, but I love this comment anyway! Thanks <3

Pushing Daisies - Bright show with quirky characters; always puts me in a good mood; artsy feel

The Flash - Great comic-book show; more joyful in tone than Arrow but also has a bunch of intriguing mysteries; great family dynamics and pretty good special effects so far; it's not wasting time but going straight for the big villains and Barry's only kept his secret from one person in his life so far -- everyone else knows

Person of Interest - Consistently good writing; excellent cast; great chemistry between principles, complex villains (seriously, they do antagonists better than almost anyone). POI constantly pushes itself -- there are a ton of surprises along the way; it takes risky chances and follows through with the consequences

The Golden Hour -- because it has Richard Armitage as a surgeon

Yeah, I'm kinda amazed, especially since I have ebooks for half-price there too, with no shipping at all. It helps that my comics are cheap; I care more about getting them out than maxing my profits.

I try not to look at shops much. I'd just get tempted!

Aw. That's cute.

I don't think Krem was handled poorly, but some of the things that you can ask him seems kind of idk invasive? Like it wouldn't be something I would feel comfortable asking a trans person. Especially a trans person I don't really know.

I don't ever choose those conversation options tho, and I still enjoy Krem's character a lot.

Hmm . . . I wonder if you'd like Full Bore. No jumping, but it's got lots of exploring and item-hunting, plus some really satisfying tunneling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ej7bjZrDig

(Fair warning: the trailer only hints it at the end, but it's actually something of a horror game--just a really sneaky one that keeps its scares in moderation. You will be freaked out at some points.)
