HELL YES. When I watched the episode the first time I didn't even realize that Carter had died, because they paid no fucking attention to it! I thought the sheriff had simply just punched his lights out, but then I saw that there was two graves... And lo and behold, upon watching it again it finally dawned upon me. They killed Carter (whom I reeeally liked), didn't even give him a decent goddamn death scene, and most of the fans either didn't notice or just plain out don't care.
