Miura has been drawing Berserk for almost 20 years now. I won't disagree that the early volumes had some terrible art. But goddamn if it isn't one of the most superbly-drawn comics out there now.

I say that the melodrama lifts after the Retribution arc, too. It's not sunshine and rainbows, but it's not all despair, either.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I couldn't help but think that the person only considers the art "ugly" because not every character is super amazingly beautiful. I mean seriously, the art is fucking gorgeous.

Shit, if I were as good-looking as John Barrowman is, I'd be a little full of myself too. And from what I've seen/heard/read, he's actually really charming and nice. (I have a friend who sat in on a panel he did at a convention and she said he was just funny and sweet.) Fame can get to people, but at least he's not a basket case like Britney Spears or whatever. So, yeah, your secret? Pretty much fails.

And if you're gonna lose respect for a Barrowman show, why not make it Torchwood? He's in every episode of that. As it is right now, he's only been in a handful of Doctor Who episodes.

There's a Weakest Link you can find on YouTube with Barrowman and Ten (I think it's ten, Eccelson was nine right?) that's hilarious. Seems like a decent guy to me, and I don't watch the show to endorse people's personalities anyway.

25.) The important thing is to have fun. Posting size does not instantly mean that you are going to have that instant spark or connection. Being a poster who can write novels.. sometimes I find it more fun to just shoot one-lines with a person, because it's so spontaneous and 'freeing'. Remember that it's ultimately all about having fun.
46.) Steamshipping.. you know I like the phrasing of that. (I ship alot of fire/water types too. That's something I think you should be PROUD of.)
