25. This wouldn't be a problem if the (usually Japanese) artists weren't so damn anal over it. They see or hear of one of their arts being used without their permission and they shut their entire site down.

I don't think it's the fanart itself people are worried about. It's the fact that the artists themselves are so anal that they shut their entire site down if they see it happening to their own stuff even once. It doesn't happen all the time, but it seems pretty common with Japanese fanart sites...

Basically, this whole shit is because one person decides to take art of someone else's character some bitchy fan drew and therefore no one else gets to see it. Round and round the circle goes, where it stops, nobody knows.

I know! I mean, I'm used to my favourites dying off, but I wasn't really pulling for that many characters in the first place with that series. :/

Unfortunately, it's true. I'm not really sure why there isn't more TornxAshelin fic out there; maybe it's because a lot of people dislike Ashelin, or maybe because it isn't nearly as IN YOUR FACE as JakxKeira. Either way it's starting to piss me off. The one canon pairing I like, I can't find. Figures.

Weeeell, I don't think the original anonymous was being very fair him/herself. Because if you're European, that's the way you've most probably been taught to spell it in school. So it's not really a matter of it being a noun or a verb, but even then it's a debatable issue if I remember the grammar correctly.

I know, that happens to me all the time while looking for fanfiction, and spend like, five minutes trying to remember a character with that name. I wish people would just stick to seperating names with slashes or exes. XD;

SERIOUSLY. Jinx needs more love. ♥ Come to think of it, so do all of the minor characters. I can't think of a single one of them that doesn't rock.

Because a lot of the time the original fanartist will shut their entire site down because of it.

EDIT: Not blaming the fanartists themselves, as everyone is guilty in this debate. I have even less respect for those who icon fanart then demand credit for them. >.>
