I loved last night's episode. Well, I loved Daryl's storyline.

Rick and Carol are just annoying the fuck out of me. And I get that Sasha is mourning and angry, BUT DON'T WASTE BULLETS TO SHOOT AT SOME PICTURES! I get that trusting people are dangerous but it seems like they are purposely trying to ruin a good thing.

Also, Carol (in this super sneaky mission) is somehow followed by a child?? Shouldn't she be more aware of her surroundings? And Rick, didn't Shane "Let me tell you sumthing" Walsh teach you about NOT wanting to bang married women or kill their husbands?

Daryl's storyline was awesome tho. I now want to read a thousand Daryl/Aaron/Eric fics. I think that is the quickest I have ever shipped something. Aaron and Eric didn't make him uncomfortable about how "uncivilized" he is. They fed him and gave him a PERFECT gift. Also, they got him to open up to them. They recognized his strengths and weaknesses (and gave him a purpose). If anyone is going to de-virginize him, I nominate those two.

I KNOW! I want all the fanfic. I want Daryl bringing them rabbits. I want someone to give Aaron/Eric "the talk" about not hurting Daryl. I want first time sex. I want Aaron and Eric hanging out in the garage with Daryl while he works on the motorcycle. I want Eric being worried at home while Daryl and Aaron go to recruit. And then adorable reunion scenes. I want Aaron learning how to skin animals from Daryl. I WANT DARYL TO LOOK FOR A HORSE TO BRING HOME!

Daryl/Aaron/Eric for new OTP. that ep was absolutely beautiful for Daryl and they seemed to balance well. Eric was a cutie, and Aaron talking about being an outsider and sympathizing with Daryl made me so emotional.

I know! Now, I just need them to give Daryl a bath and a trim. I just want at least one damn first time fic. Plus, all the stuff I told fingal.

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
GOD YES. I just read the comment. I need it ALL. and I want some of the damned fluffiest fic possible. I need cuddlefests and super domestic dinners. I need DESPERATELY want first time fic.

I haven't written for this fandom since like the end of s2 because it can be so toxic but how does one resist this OT3???

I just need to complain about Rick/Jessie, I honestly couldn't care in the comics and seeing it played out just has me rolling my eyes so hard. Dammit Rick, you SHOULD know better! Nothing good week come of this!

He should! And really, I highly doubt there are not some women that would not mind jumping in bed with him. I thought Michonne/Rick was going to become canon to be honest.

Instead, Rick is going to go after a married woman with kids. GOOD WORK!

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
I still see Michonne/Rick as a possibility. I hate to keep saying this, but after Jessie, Rick does end up with someone from his original group (and they're still together as of current volume), so I have a lot of hope that Michonne and him could be end game. They really seemed to be building it up this season. But then they kept the Jessie drama, despite all the other changes they have made. SIGH.

what the hell Rick!

I'm wondering where they are going with Carol because she's getting scary as hell, a lot of the horrible things she's done there were justifications for and I understand why she threatened that kid from her perspective... but she's really really on the line where I feel like she might be evil? A lot of her stans love everything she does and consider it badass but I think she's crossed the line and won't come back.

And Rick, god it's funny watching early episodes and seeing Rick now being exactly what he and Lori didn't want him to be.

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
The friend I watch new eps with, we started getting hysterical in the bad way when she was threatening the kid. I could understand, sure, but holy shit did it make me uncomfortable and scared.

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah same, I know in Carol's mind it was the best option so she could get away with the guns but it still made me have a "Damn Carol..." moment. I know it's not even the worst she's done since she has killed sick people before but I really wonder if they're going to keep her in the "good guy" side when this is what she's turned into.

Re: The Walking Dead

[personal profile] kaijinscendre 2015-03-10 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I thought what she did was really fucking mean. And again, how the hell did she not notice a child following her???

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
The child must have magical transportation powers, I don't know.

I almost thought she was going to kill him though, Carol has gotten scary.

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
I kind of have a feeling with the way that Carol is starting to get unhinged is that she'll be the next to go. :/

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
I've been wondering that too. Rick already kicked her out once so I don't think her going crazy will result in her just leaving.

I also wonder if Sasha is going to turn though with the way that last episode went.

I'm worried about the next big death in general though.

Re: The Walking Dead

[personal profile] elaminator 2015-03-10 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
I'll readily admit that Carol scared the shit out of me, but at the same time I do get that she had to do something. Threatening him was terrible, but killing him would have been so much worse. (I don't think any excuse would work on him. I saw someone say she should've mentioned sneaking in to get more chocolate, but she was looking at guns, he wouldn't have bought that. And yes, I do think it's dumb that a kid took Carol by surprise, but I don't fault Carol for that...it seems awfully contrived.)

I don't think Carol would actually hurt him unless this turned into another Lizzie situation, though. (Or unless he had a gun on her, which...let's hope doesn't happen.)

She's grown harder for sure (she is much more no-nonsense now), but I don't think she's evil.

Re: The Walking Dead

(Anonymous) 2015-03-10 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
I understand the justification for what she did, the only other thing I wondered about is why she couldn't come up with another story. Like yeah, the chocolate thing wouldn't work but she couldn't have come up with a lie that someone in town needed the guns? I know that's a risky lie to tell, but it's risky to threaten the kid as well.

I don't know for sure if she is evil or if she's turning that way. I mean a lot of characters justify horrible actions to survive, but usually in Rick's group they have to come back from it or it turns into an enemy within type of situation. Carol is definitely on the morally sketchy line right now, which is not a good place to be if her characters is going to have a future.

This. I love Carol so much - i loved her going all hardcore scary on that kid. Who - stupid plot contrivance aside - is annoying, as most kids are. So - i don't care that she scared the hell out of him.

:)

I think Carol is an abuse victim becoming an abuser, but she doesn't ever realize because she thinks it's the right thing to do in order to protect her family and it's not as bad as what Ed did to her (and to Sofia).

I think she still has the chance of coming back from that, but only if someone she trust notices what is going on and both stops her and helps her away from that behavior.

Re: The Walking Dead

I don't ship it, but I thought all the Daryl and Aaron scenes were adorable! I was surprised at how easily Daryl opened up, but I think Daryl sees what a nice guy Aaron is and liked that he made an effort to get to know him. (Also, the whole "We're both outsiders" thing.) I hope we get a lot more scenes with them.

I can easily imagine Aaron and Eric fawning over Daryl after that dinner scene. (But I see it as more of an 'adoptive son' sort of thing, and I don't know why.)

Me too. I think Daryl will be (relatively) happy as long as he has the group, but I'm glad he's making some outside friends. It would be difficult to be content with Alexandria if he didn't like any of the people there. (He seems to be adapting better than most, lol.)
